    I remember how much fun everyone had with the test tubes.  I'm not surprised BMD forgot about them... and Barb - sometimes a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do...Laughing

    Hello Pinkstockers...getting closer all the time and I am gathering supplies for the bra project.  Will also be gathering what is needed to do the tie dyed tshirts...bring a cotton tshirt for tie dying if you want to join in.

    MB...lost your phone number...could you pm it to me pretty please.

    So excited that this is coming up again but so disappointed that there are so many that will miss it.  Its such a wonderful event.

    OH...MB...I will really need to have a camper if at all possible...I don't mind sharing but have discovered that sleeping in a tent is no small feat!!!  Tried that last weekend...still paying for it today...yikes.

    Val glad you are trying to make it.. ok determined to get the hotels to at least give me an idea.. gonna try the econolodge in Cuba, neesie stayed there... last year I couldn't get a good rate... you had better luck online... but I don't give p easily...

    Vickie no problem.. was wondering what you were thinking anyway...lol...

    ok just to let you know its official al the snow has gone..FINALLY.. even n the shady areas... so now I can get ready...

    OK LADies....those of you on the fence, those of you who aren't sure check out the past PINKSTOCK threads... you wont be sorry ..tell your other friends on different threads... the more that come the more $$ we can raise for research...and the bigger your family will be.... 

    booo hooo... no salsa dancing... man and I really wanted to learn some new moves

    anyway.. I really hope more try to make it...

    KAren... lol.. we've been known to drive to ROch.. to cracker barrell for dinner...lol.. car shows up your way too...

    as far as help.. well I've gotten really good at this.. but I am always looking for help during the weekend...

    we do an auction to raise $$ for Research ,  some bring little goodie bags with things from their area...

    besides our resident "band" I am working on another group to come..

    best of all we will have each other...

    so glad you want to make it.. if you need a camper please let me know so I can line one up for you..

     OKay I spent yesterday straightening up the Trees..lol.. and fixing the blue tubes.. we lost about 20 trees this year but not the ones we used for "trailer parking" lol... if you haven't been you'll may be able to google and see the blue tubes....anyway.. praying for no big wind storms before PINKSTOCK...

    Hey gang!! I'm alive--been poking around on the other forums lately!! Yeah, the economy stinks!! I was hoping more people would've signed up as it'll be my 1st time meeting everyone--thankfully when my sister and I get there, we're staying at her brother-in-law's place so it's free!!

    Bethie - congrats on finishing chemo!  It sounds like a good idea to join the party on the hill.  You will love it.  We drove all the way from Miami and are still talking about it.  MB has a great family.  Who else would invite total strangers to her house?  Laughing

    Hello Rachel -  We had a blast last year. It's a great opportunity to meet and bond bc sisters and their loved ones.  The experience is priceless.  Yes, everyone is welcome...kids, hubs, significant others, friends, family, etc..  Last year, some stayed in campers and others at a hotel.  MB and her family welcomed us all with open arms.  I hope you and your baby can make it this year.

    Ok the hotels are not cooperating this year.. the rates are cheaper  if you go online or call your self.. the Econolodge , in Cuba, NY is close and easy to get to from my house.. 1-585-968-1992

    the Hampton a little more expensive 716-375-1000

    anyway.. that what a casino close by will do....

    those wanting a camper please let me know.. I would love it if you could send the form.. ( a page or two back).. like a registration.. as it gets closer $$ will  help... thanks

    This will be a weekend of just plain fun...,You can take a trip to the Casino in Salamanca, or for those that need to Saturday relaxing, crocheting and visiting. Sunday well some must leave so this will be a day of goodbyes.. we do have an auction and you can bring stuff if you want... a basket exchange too- just make sure they are packable, or I'll mail them home for the flyers.... In 07 most brought little goodie bags from their area to share.. anyway..happy planning

    Bring your tents, campers, chairs, and your significant other if you want...I have a hot tub, and may set up the sprinkler in case it gets hot so swim suits should be packed oh yeah and a bouncy house for the little ones

    I have 5 acres and a large barn just in case..I have lined up few campers to share for those that need, and can get tents for the braver of souls, we have a few air mattresses...a porta potty, with sink will be on site to alleviate the line at my house, I do have showers and inside plumbing....

    The menu is well, camping fair BBQ chicken, burgers, hot dogs, Salads: taco, potato, macaroni, fresh fruit, maybe some meatballs and rigatoni ,.. pancakes, eggs, and what ever anyone else can think of all ideas greatly appreciated and needed

    Ok now for the registration stuff.

    Please if you can, any help with financing it would be appreciated, last year most sent $75 per attendee, this helps with the food and supplies .. thank you what ever is left over we will donate

    The evenings can be cool and we have a nice breeze, .mosquito's so bring your favorite stuff..some time we have them sometimes we don't .I will email you back my addy and phone #...
    general directions

    WARNINGS...don't SPEED thru Friendship...lol...the State police will get you everytime...lol...

    AND DO NOT USE GPS OR GOOGLE TO FIND MY HOUSE...use the below directions... Another NOTE.. there are MANY dead spots with No Cell signal, so make sure your directions don't fly out the window...

    from the north(Buffalo)....190 to route 400 south, which ends and then turns into Route 16 south, which takes you into HINSDALE...go under the expressway(route 86) and take the first Right onto Gile Hollow...Turn left onto Maple Hill Rd...(up a hill) then look for the signs...

    (Binghamton) east ...Route 86 to the Hinsdale Exit...left onto Route 16...first right onto Gile Hollow follow the pink ribbons

    (Erie, Pa.)west...Route 86 to Allegany Exit...follow the signs to the Allegany Limestone School (and the pink ribbons)turn onto the the Five Mile Road...do not turn off.(+\-13 miles) to the top of the hill...(mountain)...turn left onto Steward Rd...second house on left....

    South (Pa)....inside joke...(you can't get here from there)...anyway somehow get to Route 86...then follow either east or west directions....why is there no easy way thru Pa...?

    Lefty - Probably around 8 hours.  FYI - we drove to Frederick, Maryland afterwards and it took us around 7 hours.  We did stop for lunch and bathroom breaks.  Hope this helps.

    He's in Rochester!! I've copied and pasted your most recent post with the sign up form and emailed it to her.  Rad consult is 6/8, then roughly a 3 week break, then rads.  My sister who's taking me to Pinkstock and I are going down to NC to visit our other sister before rads.  I'm starting to see peach fuzz on my head!! I also have a new 2 month old kitten, Elsie.  She's too cute!!

    Wow where's all the excitement for Pinkstock this year. I guess when I was counting down the days last year it really kept it in the front of everyone's mind. I won't be making it this year friends. I am going to New York but it will be around July 10 and I am only staying a few days. I really am going to miss you. I so loved my time there last year.

    I do hope people stillwant to come.. seems like the economy is taking its toll on PINKSTOCK this year..

    When I get home I will get some numbers from those that are coming so I can make plans..
