I don't live in Kentucky, but even I can see that is one sick horse! I think I used it in some glue last week, or licked it on an envelope flap!
I'm a horse fan, but that one's gotta go! Poor nag....
-
Deb, Glad your Ok. I agree with the meds and plumbing problems. BE carerful!
Awesome pics. Love the coaches house. Kind of reminds me of mine!! No way, I have a small Cape!
-
KATHI...GREAT NEWS! SO HAPPY FOR YOU...
Deb... So glad you're surgeries over! Rest, rest, rest!
Coonie... Hugs right back at ya...feelin' pretty crummy this a.m. Dh just left for work and kept saying, "You want me to stay home?" Told him gonna sleep right up until Onc. visit at 3:45 today... Thank you for your thoughts and prayers
1Cathi...Nice bike and pic! Matchy, matchy! ha! Used to love to ride my bike...do you have a good area to ride in? Our area is getting to busy traffic wise...
Mom2two...loved the clippers! lol I'm the same way about shopping...usually take my daughter with me...dh is no help says everything looks good! ha!
Hope I didn't forget anyone...LMDucan and Seltzer... will be thinkin' about you on Thursday.
TexasRose...My husband hardly ever missed work either...hope your dh does well today.
Well...ladies...have a blessed day. I'm gonna be spending most of mine in bed. I get this heaviness after chemo..in stomach, head... Wanted to get on and check what was happenin' with my new friends...it is addicting... Prayers for all.

Lots of good news to start the day with! Gentle hugs and Wahoos to everyone.
-
I already have a wahoo, thanks anyway.
WAIT! I have a yoo hoo
, I will take that wahoo, thanks!
-
I have so got to get off this computer now and get things cleared out for that yard sale, and I have a few home visits I have to make either today or tomorrow so I can get my reports turned in. Will try to get back on when I can.
Coonie or Faith could you give my horse a little hay now and then...
-
TexasRose, yeah this drain stinks...it's in the way..not to mention I don't think it's draining right...only 20ml's or whatever it's called last nite and this morning both..gonna wait till they call and see if that's right, seems most people had alot more drainage......
Lefty, last nite was the worse sleep I've gotten...couldn't sleep in the bed, side I had it on, that arm on the back side hurt so bad, guess is from her cutting a nerve or something...other side had port taken out, so had to try to sleep on the couch sitting up....not good.
Barbe, uh, I use mirrors...don't turn all over to look...and with these pain pills, kinda doubt I will be driving anyway, although on the other hand it might reduce the road rage!
Mom2two, Cincinnati is huge on sports too, get so mad to see my shows pre-empted by a basketball game or else the news is all about a sports event...GRRRR...seems it's more important then the other news..........
-
Mornin Ewb and Linda!
-
Janet - get some rest, I hope you are feeling better and all goes well with the onc appointment today.
Barbe - I hope you are still on the mend. Don't over do it. You can keep that butler for as long as you'd like!
Good morning to all!!
-
Oh...just one more thing...does it drive anyone else crazy to have to flush the toilet twice for 48 hours after infusion? When you don't feel good already...to have to stand there and wait for it to cycle and then flush again! argh! Especially in the middle of the night...
just wondering.....
-
Good morning Mom, hope everyone has a good day
-
Thanks Makraz...but tell Barbe that she has to send one of those guys over to my house!!!
-
About time you got up Linda! I bet you're on your second load of laundry already, though, aren't you? You probably go there before you go to the bathroom when you first wake up! hehehehehe I AM on the mend, thanks....
Deb! You THINK you just use the mirrors (I used to drive a tractor trailer, I KNOW mirrors), but you will be surprised when you back out of your driveway that you DO, and should, turn and look. Then you have to even get the seat belt on! Also, in and out of the car. Don't make me come down there and tie you down!
-
Deb- I went to university in Athens and have fond memories of listening to ball games on the radio- singing along to Cincinaaaaaati's Baseball's Red Machine (?).

Good morning everyone. Arnie, I live alone and have 2 bathrooms. I only flushed once when I was totally wiped out (no pun intended) and used the one toilet just for me. It was off limits for anyone who visited. A squirt bottle with clorox can be helpful also. If clorox doesn't kill the germs, maybe the smell will... lol !!!
I see clouds, but no rain at the moment. I am off to play bridge with the (other) old ladies..
Everyone have a peaceful, pain free, relaxing day. Hugs, Nancy
-
leftyAKAnan...1 bathroom for three of us...me and the guys... They tease me all the time...did you flush twice! ha!
Makraz...just looked back farther at the postings... Two boys and rain and mud! ha! I have two older children a boy and girl. Buttttt...I remember those days! lol Hope the sun comes out for you soon!
-
See Barbe - your wrong. I was cleaning the bathrooms this morning. Now, I 'm off to do laundry. The kids are still home with me.....
-
-
I ain't plannin on driving anywhere anyways Barbe...that's what the DH is for ain't it? and who had the chauffer last? The DH needs to go back to work tomorrow, I might "need" him...........
And I am not doing any housework for awhile........LOL, surgery does have it perks.
-
I STILL need the limo driver, I'm. Not. Quite. Finished.
-
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Y'all are funny this morning! Nice to wake up and laugh to start the day!
I never fully trust my mirrors, so I'm a turner arounder in the car. My car even has rear assist and I still don't trust it enough to not turn around and look. That was almost impossible yesterday. It was hard just to see if I could change lanes. Glad I had my hubby with me to help out. He went back to work this morning. I'm not sure how long he will be up there. Knowing him, he will suffer through the whole day.
Love the coach's house! We drove through Kentucky once when I was a little girl (a hundred years ago) and I thought it was beautiful!
Deb and Arni- rest up! You deserve it! Gentle hugs and healing wishes for both of you!
Barbe- glad you are feeling better!
Makraz (Linda
)- You work too hard!
I am going to try and dust a little today. Maybe.
I'd like to start riding my bike again, but we have this mountain lion....
-
Thanks Makraz! Hey BARBE I got my own! Nah!
Got a question for those of you who had drains...this one doesn't seem to be draining alot, is that normal? We've only emptied it twice and it's only had 20 ML's each time...I read alot of posts where women had alot of drainage.. I just expected it to do alot more I guess. They told me that if it stayed under 24 ML's for 24 hours it could come out, so just wondering if this is normal or if it can actually come out already? Guess will wait for them to call today, they're supposed to.
-
Good morning ladies! Thinking of you all today!
Deb-hope your pain isn't too bad this morning. Take it easy while you can.
Lori----lots of prayers for you tomorrow! Will be thinking of you and can't wait to see that golden fingernail:)
Seltzer--thinking of you too!! Praying that everything goes well!
Arnie---Girl, you better take it easy today....while you can. How come you have to go back to see the doc? Are you taking the neulasta shot or something? Chemo sure does kick you down, doesn't it? Just remember....you'll be back up and running before long:)
MaryRose..I remember trying to drive right after surgery. And I STILL have trouble reaching through at drive-thru's etc. I don't think my lymph node arm will ever be the same.
Mom...the pics of Kentucky are beautiful!!! I've never been there, but it looks like a beautiful state. I agree with Barbe about the horse though...hehe....poor guy:(
Hey Elaine, Linda and everybody else. Hope you all have a great day and hope your weather is better. It's gonna be 85 degrees here today. Wonderful summertime weather.........uugghhhhh!!!!
-
Hey Deb....you might need to make sure there's nothing clogged in your drains. You can strip them from top to bottom between your thumb and first finger. Sometimes that will get them flowing again.
-
Coonie - we are you and would you please send some of that 85 degree weather to the Boston area??? Actually, I heard it's coming my way for the weekend! Yeah!! Enjoy your day!
Mary - Now I have people calling you MaryRose!
LindaRose!
-
Coonie, He does that everytime he empties it...doesn't seem to help any...we even opened it up and squished it and closed it, they said the suction would help but it just stayed squashed and really didn't help...just worried that it isn't draining enough or something and it will cause me problems....
-
Did you push all the air out of the bulb so when you put the tube back in it will "pull" from the tube? Make sure there's no air in the bulb at all.
-
Hey Linda.......I'm down in the bayou state of Louisiana
where the summers are HOT and HUMID and miserable!!! I'm dreading it soooooooooo much!!!!
