Just checking back in to see if there is any news on our surgery gals and Kathi. Still praying for all of you.
I drove for the first time today and it was really hard. Harder than I thought it would be. I'm still so tight. Ran a lot of errands and had my DH with me since he is on pain meds for the thumb and can't drive. He is hoping he can go back to work tomorrow. He doesn't do down time well at all. I was glad to have him along since I can't pick up the groceries yet.
I LOVE those fingernails! I am way overdue a pedi. There is nothing more relaxing to me!
coonie- thanks for asking. No chemo date yet. I meet with the oncologist for my first appt on 4/29. I have no idea what to expect after that.
Hope everybody else is enjoying their day. We have sunshine today and it's getting HOT! Summer in Texas- won't be long now.
BTW, my name is Mary. It's in my signature, but I don't think anybody notices those.
-
Ok Mary - but I really like the name TexasRose!! It sounds so pretty! Not that Mary doesn't. I just love Roses!!
-
Hello Mary, nice to meet you
Elaine
-
Ok, you can call me TexasRose! I just didn't want to look rude like I hadn't properly introduced myself. LOL
Nice to meet you too Elaine!
-
Well, hey ya'll.....my real name is Lisa
But there are so many Lisa's on here, I thought it would be more confusing to use my first name:)
MaryRose (hehe)....I sure hope your husband's hand gets better soon!! That's got to be soooo painful.....ouchie
-
I like the name Coonie.....to me you'll always be Coonie even tho I remember the Lisa name changeover.
-
I TOLD you so about the driving Mary!
There is a girl at work with nails so long they curve around and almost touch her hand! She can't even hand-scan in! It's ugly and very unprofessional and I don't know why they can't say anything!
-
Maybe I will call her MaryRose.
BTW, MaryRose my name is really not makraz. Mine is written below too.
Barbe Gross! She should have to cut them! What do you do? Interior design? Comedy?
Linda(rose)

Ed
just came home and surprised me with a new outside bike (early anniversary 5/6) I have been wanting one, have really only been using stationary for last 3yrs as the arms and so many surgeries have kept me from feeling "up to it" any way I just wanted a single speed W/Basket for Margo of coarse - YEAH
-
Cool bike Cathi!!
-
Oh Cathi what a lovely pic.
-
Great news around here. YEAH KAKAKAKAKAK!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh happy day. Hallelujah. The best news possible.
So glad to be home for the night. Have my laptop in my lap & don't intend to move till tomorrow morning. Two trips complete, five to go!! Whooohooooo.
Kathi congrats on your awesome bike. A whole new chapter. Enjoy.

Here's as long as I am willing to go (and no, those are not mine):
-
This woman, on the other hand, I challenge to even wipe her butt!
Not only is she not doing any housework, she needs a personal servant to even get bathed and dressed.
-
Cathi - your outfit matches your bike! How cool!
Please no more gross fingernails!
-

I went shopping today for tops to wear when I don't want to wear the forms. They are starting to bother my incision line for some reason this last week or so. I tried to find a top like Barbe wore in that pic but I am awful on the fashion stuff. Someone send me pics or come help me find a decent wardrobe for Spring.
-
Hey Mom......I've just been wearing my little cami without my forms under normal shirts/blouses and it feels great. I really don't think anybody notices anything. I just wanted something soft against my skin. I don't like itchy blah blah
-
I wish I knew how to sew I would make blouses with light soft forms sewn right in the blouse. Forget these mastectomy bras.
