Sharon I keep meaning to ask you but do you have a British accent, you say things like shiny sometimes.
Speaking about Shiny, just how long is that vacation girl?
Seems like you've been gone a long time
-
I found you!!!! Still watching Dancing?
-
yep are you
-
I told you. I am waiting to see the hot man dance with Cheryl! I'm only interested in really seeing him and Melissa. The Olympian is good sometimes, but not the greatest at other times.
-
Wish I had seen Melissa dance but I like Shawn Johnson too.
-
She did good tonight!
-
Aren't you watching the Celtics game? I bet I'm alone in that one! Bruins too! On at the same time, gotta switch back and forth between the two.
-
Wouldn't hubby love that if I'd come in one day and say "What about those Celtics". Of course he'd have to come to first
-
Hey mom...Sharon's got a beautiful accent! I've talked to her on the phone, and it's really really neat!!! I could sit and listing to her talk all day long:)
Of course, she thought I had the accent since I drag my words out foooorrrreeeeevvvveeeeerrrr
Edit: Because I'm too tired and shouldn't be typing...making crazy mistakes:)
-
I thought so coonie, it shows up in her posts too. I love accents.
-
Mom - not a sports fan? Not a Celtics fan? I guess we can still be friends!!
-
Isn't fans something you clean that's attached to your ceiling
-
Went to a Wildcats game here (someone gave us tickets) and I realized then the only way I even understand any part of the game is because of the announcers who by the way are not there announcing over the intercom like they are on tv. So the only way I knew something was happening was when everyone would suddenly stand up and cheer (or jeer).
-
Weren't those sixty styles cute!
-
Mom, are you supposed to clean them?? I actually hate that job so much! It's the worst. I always tell my DH that I think we should just buy new fans, it's easier than cleaning them!
-
Miss you girls. Just a quickie. Tomorrow I find out what's up with the repeat mamm, hopefully NOTHING. Have been trying not to lose my mind -- so of course, I'm MUCH too anxious to do any housework! I mean, isn't that one of the rules?? No housework while you're waiting for test results?? Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'll let you know what happens.

Linda, Tricky Tray's are the same as Chinese Auctions.
A Chinese Auction is a fun night out. They started out in a school cafeteria or auditorium or church basement. Usually about $10.00 to get in and with that you get a sheet of tickets (about 25 on a sheet) to use for the smaller prizes. These prizes are worth up to $25.00.
Then the next category of prizes ....
willcontinue later..bad thunderstorm here..lol...brb
-
I don't think the basketball fans look like they need too much cleaning Linda, why do you ask?
-
Awwhhh KAK - I just HATE waiting on results, don't you? I'm praying for a good report. Keep us posted as soon as you hear, ok? ((((((((((((((((((((((gentle hugs to you)))))))))))))
Try not to worry:)
-
ps hubby sat down to watch some tv and was flipping through some channels and I piped up and said hey how about those Celtics, he laughed and said "Who told you about the Celtics game!" Told you he'd faint if I was interested in a game.
-
Mom - the ceilig fans need cleaning!! You're to funny! Love the pic of the game!
Kak - let us know how it goes tomorrow. I've been thinking of you!
I didn't know what a chinese auction is either! I do now, thanks for the education. Hope you have fun!!
-
Wow Linda, you figured out the Chinese auction from that cryptic explanation? Candie, you are not going to be able to type for a couple days from your surgery ((((((( hugs )))))))))))) give me a longer explanation now while you can!
Besides going to work, my ONE thing, I took the dressing off when I got home as the tape bothers me terribly. Just steri-strips now, about 15 of them so not bad. The incision has more bruising than my mastectomy did! What the heck did he do while he was in there? It looks good otherwise. Only Costco planned for tomorrow as it's supposed to keep raining.
Everyone post results here so we don't have to hunt you down!
-
Hey, then there's a Dutch auction, which is a 3-day sale where they mark everything down by, say, 50% the first day; then anything that's left the 2nd day is marked down 60%; and on the 3rd, anything left goes down 70%. I got my new livingroom couch at one of those a few years ago. $2,000 couch for about $700. It was great!!
Mom, friend of a friend just got back from a visit to Kentucky. She LOVES it there. I'll have to pop down with my camera sometime. It just must be gorgeous.
-
Anyone else hit the triple digits today like here?
We've been working out feathers off out at the Bay thank goodness where the temps are
cool and the cool is refreshing.
Got home a couple hours ago and Whoa.
KAK Kathi Good luck with your results tomorrow. Waiting can be a hazardardous to our
health.
Hello and good temps wishes to all. I hope my cleaning will wait.
Dust bunnies do wait and multiply with ease so hot dusters to the bunnies this coming
weekend.
It's just toooooo hot here at the moment.
West coast here and no Dancing yet.
My mop and swifters are TWEETING me to get busy. Ha. They have R&R till Sat. Day.
Keep it GREEN cleaners.
Sahalie
-
We got up to 13. 13 has a 3 in it, does that count for a triple number? Where the heck do you live!
-
Oh My Freezing Wow BARBE. 13.
I'm in California. The land of triple hotness all up and down the coast.
All our CA girls will agree.
As crazy as the triples are right now we are also due for maybe five drops of rain this
weekend. We are in desparate need of some down pours.
We are just above the Golden Gate. Yesterday was just as hot.
13 Barbe. Unreal. I'll send you my blankets.
-
Oh Sahalie, I sleep with my windows open and never even turned the furnace on this winter! 13 Centrigrade is about 56 Farenheit, so not too bad....I haven't worn a coat for about 5 or 6 weeks now! We have really thick skin in Canada...
-
Eye exam went well and I paid the extra for one hour service. I can see numbers, letters, signs, and should have a re check in 6 months since it is only 6 months since I finished chemo. I pray for good results for all tests and check ups and no aches or pains. Hugs, nancy
-
I actually prefer cold weather to hot except when on our yearly adventure then it doesn't bother me.
Hot weather is a wilter.
We are actually having a week where we are all asked to NOT bbque. use gas mowers. leaf blowers. (which I detest). It's called "Spare the air"
I think the air is much worse down in southern CA. due to the millions of people.
Nancy. That's great about your eye exam. Congrats!
-
Coonie I need a lemonade cause I got my housework done today.
Very tired and sore, But life is good and friends are great!
May you have a peaceful evening. Hugs, Debbie
