Dancing with the Stars

Well, it seems I missed a lot this week. I really can't seem toget into the show this season. The dancing is painful to watch...specially Steve's. I didn't like Denise's dancing either she seemed so stiff. I hope Steve goes home...maybe then I will be able to watch the show again.
-
I missed last night, but my husband watched and filled me in. Can you believe it....LOL
-
the dancing is improving. I just wish that Steve O was off the show last night.
Sheila
-
OK - ladies am I the only one who thinks Steve O has overstayed his welcome and Julianne's dance was a bit too steamy? It just didn't seem like they where dancing the Rumba.
-
I agree with you about Steve O and Julianne. Tye is doing good and they tried to 'country' up the routine with the cowboy boots and hat but he is a little out of his element but I do think he is better than Steve O.
Sheila
-
Yeah....Steve O is gone. It was painful to watch him. Now, it's time for serious competition.
-
I was cheering when Steve O was given the send off! Now down to the 'real' dancing.
Sheila
-
I agree that Steve O has overstayed his welcome, I wish him well, but I am glad he is gone.
Next week will be intersting to see the costumes designed by the stars and not the pros. Will they be more covered????
-
Hi everyone! I am new to this topic, as I only started watching DWTS after my mastectomy on April 1! I am hooked! I LOVE IT! I am also glad Steve-O is gone. I like Ty, but it is excruciating to watch him dance, even tho he tries so hard! I agree about Julianne, I figured thats why her boyfriend/partner had an untucked shirt on for his dance outfit, so everyone wouldn't be able to see how steamy it really was! Must be difficult to dance that way!
-
I'm glad Steve-O is gone too....
-
Laurie - your too funny about the shirt. I do think that dance was a bit much. Anyway, glad you caught the DWTS bug. We've been watching together here for several seasons now. Glad you found us.
Anne - I missed the part about the customes. Wow, I hope ther are no wardrobe malfunctions.
Sheila - I was cheering too and my DH gave me this strange look. I don't think he understood how painful it was to watch Steve O. Oh, and that clip with him and his partner practicing this weeks dance was really in poor taste. Ballroom dancing is suposed to be about grace, beauty, and class. Do I need to say more?
-
Lil Kim had another wardrobe malfunction at the end of her dance Monday night. She was adjusting her top as she walked back to get the judges opinions of her dance. And on Tuesday night I thought she was going to come bouncing out of her top again. That part about the costumes was funny, I can't wait to see what the stars come up with. of course they were working with the professional designer in making their decisions.
Laurie, welcome to the dance floor divas. We have fun evaluating each and every dance the day after the show on Monday and dance when the one we can't stand finally gets voted off.
-
Yes, I saw Tom adjusting her top. I think she almost pulled a Janet Jackson.
Thanks for the "dance floor divas" title. Can you imagine us on the dance floor? That would be so much fun! Hmmm...I wonder if they would let us pick our dance partner? Not sure who I'd pick...need to think about that. LOL
-
At least for some of us, they wouldn't have to worry about wardrobe malfunctions. I did have recon but these boobs aren't bouncing out of my top.
Sheila

-
LOL, I don't either anymore. But back before the BC, I was all top! Hard to keep the girls down no matter what I did.
-
another thread I wish I saw earlier...
i think lil kim is really shaping up to be a good dancer-- derricks choreography helps.
I think lil kim, melissa and Gil will go to the end.....
-
I agree! Can't wait to watch this week!
-
Hi Beth and Laurie - Glad you found us. This season has been a little slow getting started but I think it should get better now. It's time for some serious dancing!
-
BTW - Do you guys remember Helio Castroneves (race car driver) from a couple seasons back? He and his sister were just acquitted on Friday of evation charges.

Can't wait for tonight!
-
OMIGOSH! It is sooooo good! I love Eastern Time Zone!
-
I have it on now while I'm racing er dancing about the house.
I forgot this is the week the contestants had to design their partners dress.
LiL Kim and Derek just melted the dance floor with their Rumba.
OOps the judges aren't pleased. Except kind of Bruno.
-
Overall good dancing. I had to laugh at Edyta getting tangled in her outfit. Poor girl she is not used to wearing so much. It was a beautiful dress. Wow, the competition is tight. Not sure who is going home tomorrow. I guess it will depend on the viewers votes.
-
OMIGOSH!
I really thought Chuck & Julianne looked & danced beautiful...Edytas' dress was gorgeous. I enjoyed the entire night-oh LOVED Shawns dance-she actually gave me goose bumps-I appreciate that she is only 17 years old competing against these sexy full grown adult men & women...imagine the backstage conversations she is witnessing. I am looking forward to tonight...how many go tonight?
-
I thought everyone rose to the occasion, but I agree about Shawn - she really gets it. It is amazing to see her transformation from practice to getting out on the floor. She stunned me last week and this week, with all the comments about not getting enough practice, I was expecting less than she delivered. I don't know who is going home tonight, it will most likely be a popularity contest tonight. Have to watch & see what happens.
-
I was at my local support meeting and got speaking to a new member aftewards and forgot about DWS until I was in my car at 8:15 and didn't get home til 8:25 so I missed most of the dances. What I did see was great. Tye did well considering his poor dances over the past few weeks. It will be a popularity contest tonight. I did love the group dance.
Laurie, only one couple goes home tonight.
Sheila
-
I'm thinking maybe Tye goes home. He is such a cowboy.
The group dance was awesome. What a blast from the past.
-
Melissa kicked Butt!! Especially with bruised ribs too!! I thought even though the judges scored lil Kim pretty well, they were fickle in their comments-- all season they say she's too raunchy-- then she tones it down, and they tell her to bring it back....
Julianne and Chuck did a great job. I think LT needs to go home- something about his attitude just bugs me, like he's not having fun.
