Oh my bod deifintely looks like that
its just my new hairdo that I'm a little worried about. What do you gals think?
-
I wish I had enough hair to do that I think the 2 inch length is not enough(ha ha)
Lori
-
Let me share one of my must have styles with you Lori.
-
Oh 2.........and the colour is so natural looking.
-
Thanks Sharon, I thought so too. It goes great when I'm walking my little Fi Fi
-
Whew......ok...I'm back from my errands. Thanks for the limo ride Sharon. Was very nice!!! Chauffeur was really nice too:)
Ohhhh the beautiful hair do's and Fi Fi
I went out in my back yard today, and took a few pic of my flowers that are blooming, and my pups....they don't look like Fi Fi.......and they SURE don't have manners:) and (sigh) they are getting soooo old, but they are my HEART. Here they are......can't you tell I'm a proud mom?
Here's my Opie.....he will be 13 in July..
And here's my Lucky......he just turned 14 in March......he's trying to smile, but the sun is in his eyes:) He's my shadow....follows every step I make...
Now some of my recent blooms......it's not Better Homes and Gardens, but I love 'em
I think this is called a wild dogwood....not quite sure...
If you'll notice behind this pink flower, there is a fake fire hydrant.....that is for Lucky and Opie's use, and they DO use it
-
Just give me the limo driver and leave us alone! I've had a really, really busy day.....exhausted.....
-
Coonie - I love the fire hydrant. What a riot!
-
Coonie, what sweethearts. I love those faces. Great yard pics too, is that a pool I see in the background?
-
Hey Barbe....I think there was a limo driver posted earlier.
We'll let you have him all to yourself:)
Hey Linda......that fire hydrant has been in that spot for about 10 years! I'm surprised it's still got color on it. ewwwwwhhhhhh
Hey Mom........it is a pool, but it's still covered. When we get back from our trip, that ole cover is coming off!! That's one of my favorite things to do.....sit by the pool and read a good book.
hehe.......I LOVE the pic of the dog in the pool. My dogs HATE the pool. We have tried to train them in case they fall in which way to swim-----towards the steps. They just don't like the water.
-
Don't dachsies have a difficult time swimming even if they LIKE the water?
-
Coonie - here's another dachsund by the pool - not IN it but by it
Gosh, that water looks so inviting.
-
Kathleen, I hardly recognized you. The spa took years off
-
Coonie - I got it! They just need flotation devices like this guy:
I couldn't find the original photo but this is better.
-
Just post the thumbnail photo Kathleen. All I'm seeing is a red X
-
Coonie, it's a quarter part midnight here, so hub and I are going to bed, but just had a quick catch up, and.. honestly, your acceptance speech had me in stiches, bursting with the giggles. Honestly, I am a very upbeat person but I rarely laugh out loud, so you get bonus points for that from me! What a tonic! Have a lovely holliday.
Mum2two, I hear you are planning a possible tour... maybe, England? Well, to give you a flavour, I always have Earl gray in the house, but I make a seriously strong coffee also, cakes on offer are usually banana or various fruit cakes or double choc for the kids. My garden is full of blooms since mid march, it's been very sunny and mild but now rain coming. Am 50 minutes from Waterloo station in London by train and Windsor Castle is in the next county, 40 minutes away. I think perhaps pop in there for the tea, I am a bit short on refinements, the likes of which I have seen on your pastry pics!
Makraz, ohhh Marshmellow Fluff.. ahhh. I used to go to Maine most summers when I was growing up (and a few times to MA) Marshmellow fluf, with (Peanut butter on top!) was a big part of the deal. I have calmed down a wee bit now. What i'd like from Walmart? where to start!? the whole darn shop please. Honestly we need one sooo bad, but even if they openned one up, the rents here are so high that it woudn't be as good value.
Still, am off with my hub and kiddos to Crete for a week next Tuesday. It will probably take me another week after that to catch up with all your news, but no doubt it will be a hoot!
Nighty night to you all and bestest vibes on their way!
Shiny

I've got to clean these martini glasses! I guess that can wait until tomorrow.
G'nite my friends!
-
Hi Friends, I got my little jobs around the house, It wasn't raining so I ran to some stores and other jobs, God bless you all I love your four legged babies. I have 2 of them. Take care, Debbie

I have to share this funny situation I had while at physical therapy today. I totally know that Barbe will love it!
Man enters office, goes to front desk to check in. Secretary tells him that there must be a mistake because I just checked in and I am scheduled for that same time slot with PT. He looks bewildered and secretary tells him have a seat. Secretary calls PT. After quick conversation the secretary calls me and the guy up to the counter. Secretary says "PT said that she scheduled you both at the same time because she can get you (meaning me) undressed and started and for you (the guy) she only needs to see you for a minute, and all you have to do is take your pants off for her to measure your hose."
The guy looked at each other and laughed! I was glad he thought the same way I did, because it was so funny! The secretary must have thought about how it sounded after we were laughing and she started laughing too! So when it was time for my appointment when I was called back to the room, the secretary must have called PT and told her how funny her message to us was and she got the biggest kick out of it! So after she had me undressed and relaxing on the table, she said "Okay - off to get his pants down and get that hose measured!" After she came back she explained that he wears those medical hose for circulation.
Anywhoo.......I thought it was funny. Sorry in advance if that offends anyone. -
Hi everyone. Got a puter problem my son will fix over the weekend. In the meantime I am on at the computer center. Sorry I do not have time to catch up with everyone, but I did get new windows in my bedrrom, BUT they broke the glass on one and have to order another...
I will be back when MY puter is fixed. This one is too aggravating. HUGS, Nancy
-
What a fun day it was with you all. Nancy hoping you and Linda get those computer troubles taken care of soon.
2 New1's would you believe I finally quit PT even though it seemed to be helping because I just couldn't get comfortable with someone rubbing my chest down, boob or no boobs.
Well everyone its off to bed for me.
-
mom2two ~ This was only my second time going to PT. I have to say that even though I have only gone twice, I feels like it helps. The PT is so nice & friendly, we talk during the whole thing and it's not awkward at all. I have NEVER been to a spa and had a massage done or anything like this before - always too shy. But somehow this woman has put me at ease and I know it will help the pain from my TE and help everything heal up in the long run.
-
I hope it helps you and you feel better. Hang in there. Debbie
-
2new1s, a brilliantly funny story!!! One of those stories that has you in stitches. I love it.
Today is Good Friday and sunny. There will be no housework in this house today!
-
Yah, but did he have a big hose? I was waiting to hear....! Good one. One for the grandkids.
PT, how did you get that? I had a massage every week for 5 1/2 years! I NEEDED it. When I had to stop due to financial constraints I ended up on an electric scooter, graduated to a cane, then had to have minor back surgery to be able to walk pain-free! I am a huge advocate of massage. Dishes, then off to a wedding shower for my daughter! This is the only day we could be sure that everyone would be off work.....
-
2new 1s -- Oh my goodness.............the hose story is tooooo funny
Hey Shiny..........you sure do stay up late. I'm going to Walmart today. What ya need? Just make me a list, and I'll send it to you
Nancy..........girl you gotta get that computer fixed. A lady MUST have a computer. I mean, really............this kind of support is much cheaper than going to a therapist:)
Footie.........it's always good to see you stop in here. Hope you have a wonderful Easter. Thinking of you everyday ((((((((((big hugs))))
Hey my sweet Canadian friend Sharon........ the Easter Lily is so pretty:) Hope you have a wonderful Easter. Did you get doggus a basket? I'm sure he would enjoy hunting Easter eggs:)
Mom----thanks for starting this thread. It's a hoot....the ladies here are awesome!
Barbe--hope the shower goes GREAT today!!! Take pics and show us what she gets:)
((((((((big hugs all around)))))))) -
Coonie, I'm your Canadian friend too, aren't I???????
You can't go to Walmart. It's closed, isn't it?
-
OH yeah!!!!!!!!!! Barbe...........you're my Canadian friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ohh my..........I hope Walmart isn't closed today. I think ours only close on Christmas day. If they're closed, that's gonna change all my plans today -
Where do you live anyway? I just might drop in...
