good morning ladies!!! I think I'm gonna take the day off.......MIGHT do some laundry, but other than that........no housekeeping today!!!
Hey Barbe......LOVE the new avatar. You know, I heard on oprah or somewhere that putting hair behind your ears takes off 10 years. So.....since my hair has started growing back in, every single bit goes BEHIND THE EARS
I need all the help I can get
I'm getting a little worried about Cathi......I haven't seen her for awhile. Maybe she's just enjoying her time with Margo.
Ok.....hope you ladies have a great weekend!!! We've got sunshine and 70 degrees here today. It's Spring!!!!!!!!!!!
(((((((((((((((((hugs to everybody))))))))))
Oh, I read somewhere on the boards, and I can't remember who posted it, but they had a t-shirt that said "yes, they're fake, my other one's tried to kill me".......it read something like that. I thought that was soooo funny.
-
-
I did see the post about the tee shirt.
I have started breakfast and I am surfing the web. I will singing in easter contata tonight so no other word planned. Must save all my energy.
-
That pic should have an s on the end for friends.
No cliques here, everyone welcome to join in the fun and chat anytime.
Coonie I'm concerned about Cathi too since she hasn't even logged on here since the 27th. Think she must be helping Jaclyn right now with health issues, so everyone say a prayer for them both.
2New1's You can just buy a regular bra that has a fabric lining, then just cut a slit (not too large) in the top or side and slip something soft like even a sock or one of the silicone pads you can find at the store now and create your own boob that you don't have to worry about falling out. Thats basically what the mastectomy bras' are. The inside lining has a slit that the breast forms are slipped into and then you have a new boob. If its gonna be awhile before you can get the reconstruction again you may want to see if your insurance pays for breast forms and mastectomy bras and then you can use that till the new one is fixed.
lovinmamma did I tell you you inspired me to get with the clothes sorting too! Great job and think of all the people who will benefit from those clothes too.

Wanted to mention too after reading how some can get left out of posts. Think that is the danger when the threads get lots of posters, its hard to read back through and often we don't comment on someones post even when we find it interesting so maybe we can all work towards making everyone feel welcomed by trying to pull together to make sure we don't leave anyone behind. I always try to go back to the last page I read to try to keep up. But it would be nice to have everyones help.
I sent a message to the moderators asking if there was a pin but haven't gotten a response yet. Will let you know if I hear anything.
-
this is for EVERYONE (((((((((( FRIENDS ))))))))))))). I do not want to miss anyone.
Whew, I made a ground lamb casserole instead of lamb patties. Saved some energy and LOTS of time. it does taste and smell very good. There should be enough left for tomorrow when my son comes over.
-
I had PM'd Cathi before the 27th I think and haven't heard back. I told her we are all thinking of her and understand why she is not checking in, but we'd like to know that they are both okay.

I totally agree Mom.....we should all be here to support one another. The reason we were even drawn to this website is because of breast cancer and that is one thing we all have in common. That makes it a special bond between sisters!!!
So, here are some flowers for all of my BC sisters!!!!!! May you all have a blessed day!!
-
Agreed Mom! Your such a good Mom. Welcome to all - old and new friends!! My laptop needs a new battery, I think. Something is wrong so I have to use the kids PC. So, I won't be able to log on nearly as often as I used to. I wanted to let you all know that I am thinking of you all and missing you! Guess I better go and clean house.
-
Coonie I loved your repost of the shirt i want one of those. glad I inspired you Mom to clean out clothes. Now I just have to get them out of my house. the lady os coming for them in 2 weeks (YAY!!!). She is also coming to help me get thru the clutter and get rid of more stuff!
A big hello to all of you here! I need to get the 2 loads of laundry done, find my kitchen floor and move all the clothes I am giving away to ds room and move the toys I am getting rid of to the van! then i won;t see them in the hallway!
-
Hello, everyone! I didn't get any housework done yet today, but I did do my taxes!! Turbo Tax is awesome, I must say. So, that counts as a kind of housework, doesn't it???
-
Hi, just my opinion but doing your taxes entitles you to 2 weeks off in my book! Well... woudn't that be nice if you could. Shame our houses woudn't make it if we took 2 weeks off the chores..yikes!
Still KAK, WELL DONE with getting that job out of the way, go treat yourself.
Bestest wishes, Shiny
-
I admire anyone who actually can do their own taxes!! I'd say that counts for lots of chore banking.
-
Well hey! I did my taxes already and got the return back and spent it so .... whew!... I'm not doing anything today except working!
-
Anybody have any extra energy to spare on the house work, I went shopping and
came home with groceries, But no energy. Take care, Connie and others thanks for
caring. Stress has been high. Hugs, Debbie
-
Ahhh...here's a little something for everyone that's been using their brains
lately. I definitely think doing taxes counts as LOTS of bonus time.....or at least a good head massage....
-
Awwhhhh Footie....you just need a good head massage like the one above. So sorry you had a stressful day. Wish I could be there to help you. Sending extra hugs for you today!!!
-
This is a sign we all need to hang over our door.
It's so true.......when we clean, nobody sees it, but when it gets
messed up again, the company decides to come over....
-
Coonie that sign reflects the state of my house exactly. Everything was pretty much picture perfect for the birthday party, then wham this morning I woke up and thought what happened! How could a little pack of 8 year olds cause all this??? If only houses could clean up as fast as they get messed up.
-
Thankyou Everyone, I went to put the vacuum away and spilled sorted nails all over the floor,
They are going to wait til I have nothing else to do day. I quit too, took a bubble bath and now
it be good to myself time. I hope all of you can do the same. Mom2Two can I borrow that sign.
God loves you and so do I, Debbie
-
Coming over with my trusty magnet to take care of those nails, so you just go ahead and get yourself some rest
-
I love it, that would have been alot easier, Cause they fell in the room by the water heater, Thanks for the laugh. Will I get company cause my mess, That is what I, Coonie and others know it always happens. Thanks again, Mom2two, I needed that. Hugs Debbie

Happy Palm Sunday!
-
Morning friends,
DH and DS will be home from church soon so this will be short. Roast is in the oven and we are going to have green beans and mashed potatoes w/gravy. Used to be THE Sunday dinner at DH's house while we were dating. He would pick me up for church, went to church then had dinner at his parents house.
DS had to come home from Western to get a very nasty virus removed from his computer. It was some sort of spyware program. We had given him an anti-virus program that DH installed but it requires user to run it every month or so. Had he done that? NOOOOO...... After all, he's a college student. I bet he will be better about doing it from now on.
We're leaving for Florida on Thursday so I've got to get my house cleaned and laundry done before we go. Neighbors are coming in to feed the cats and no way do I want them to see the house as it is now. Way too messy. If I do a little the next three days I should be OK. Thats the plan anyways.
Gotta run, can smell the roast so needs to be turned down. Also need to peel potatoes and get them on. Have a great day everyone.
Blessings,
Wendy

A hardy good day to all. I welcome all new people and say hello to anyone who reads.
I am taking the off from house work. I have gone for a walk and now I am sitting at the computer. I will have to do breakfast dishes at some point and fix dinner. I truly long for a dish fairy or a dishwasher. SO doesn't have one in his house, I had brand new one in my old home I left to move here.
The rest of the day I will be studying for mid term exam in Organizational Management.
-
We are having such a warm sunny day that its hard to want to be indoors. I fixed an early lunch/dinner. Grilled some hamburgers and bbq chicken, then served it with potato salad, coleslaw, sweet corn, and roasted asparagus. I love the grilling season.
Wendy the roast sounds wonderful too. I could almost smell it just reading about it. I heard about some kind of computer virus going around but thought maybe it was an april fool day prank, not a real virus.
Pinky I don't like doing the dishes or folding laundry. I may need to join you on that walk though, I think I ate way too much.
Hope everyone is enjoying the day.
-
Come on over! the weather is great here also. My walk was great sunny and nice. I may do the path again before the day is over. The dishes are still waiting for me.
-
Hi Everyone
Lets see yesterday I weeded some more and burn my head....... This morning I have done the dishes, clean the fridge, and a load of laundry. Now I think I will go do some sewing. I plan on making susage gravy and biscuts with mashed potatoes. Hey Barbe( the gravy QUEEN). Have a great day
-
Hi Ladies,
Love, love, love the input for my clothing dilmea I was having for my dinner. I ended up being BRAVE and wearing my tshirt that is my avatar picture! In case you can't quite tell what it is, the tshirt says "Construction Zone" & has a BC pink ribbon all in pink rhinestones! So pretty I love it. I figured it would just put it out there as to why I have one foob and nothing on the other side. Only DH's female cousin said a quiet private comment to me that I looked great and she loved my shirt! She gave me a hug and said "You have been through a lot & we all know you have been very brave!" Brought tears to my eyes! Other than that not one word was mentioned about me, which was a relief!
Off to get the last load of clothes out of dryer! Hooray!
-
Denise I'm coming over! My DH had only planned pizza take-out (I work today).
