Kathi - That last pic of your babies is adorable. So, who saw the movie? I saw it day after Christmas. Not as good as the book, but a good movie.

Just bumping because my OTHER kitty finally let me take some decent pictures of him.  This was in exchange for the fact the I found him lounging on the kitchen table.  I tried to take a picture of him on the table, but he knew he was being bad.  So he rushed off the table as soon as he saw me & ran up to me meowing sweetly to distract me from the fact that he was being naughty.

This is Jett, the Persian Slob, & that's with two t's, thank you very much, in honor of Joan Jett.  He came with this wicked twee pedigreed name that simply had to go.  Think it was Carbone or something.  I mean, really.  He's such a goober, though.  I love him to pieces for that.  He thinks he's such a big, macho kitty & he's such a wuss.

Oh, and this little guy was marked down to $4.99 in Rite-Aid.  I mean, I HAD to bring him home.  I always wanted my own horse...

I said to dh- 'I suppose if Deja  watches it she will get naughty/stupid Ideas in her head'  he said 'get the ideas?  She already has them!'

Lets see she is still pooping out Birdseed that she ate in my dds room last Thursday :o

Dejaboo, I never saw the movie either!!  Thanks for the video heads-up.  LOL, my girlfriend's dog is always eating birdseed, with the telltale seedy poop showing up!

How are you, by the way?  I haven't been on here as much lately myself, so I haven't gotten around to all the usual peeps, ya know?  What's up?  How's the health?  Hope your little ol' heart is working okay.

    Hi Kathi,

Love that Sexy Avatar.  Im doing good- thanks.  I have my Heart Bubble Echo in Mid April.  Then I will know more.

I didnt want to tell the rest of 'The Deja Story.'  The Day Before  She ate some Dirt & Pebbles out of a Pot I had been transplanting plants out of.  Dirt is ok- The Pebbles had me nervous.

We could feed alot of Birds in Dejas yard- LOL

We will both have to post after we get to see the movie Finally!

    Hope you are doing good.

Thanks on the avatar, Pam.  Those are my actual feet with the actual red pumps I bought the day I saw my BS recently, which was a week after getting my negative six-month, first post-op mamm.  I decided I needed a pair of high heels after all the anxiety was over.  LOL

Never read the book but saw the movie a got all choked up and teary eyed! I have a Golden like Marlie......her name is Molly. Also have a terry-poo 15yrs young named Blue. I love my furry kids! I can't stand to see an animal in pain or suffering.

Love all your pics......especially the dogs on the tables!

I see that the video releases today and I have an important question. Is this movie sad? I noticed some of you mentioning to have a Kleenex of hanky nearby. Does that mean Marley dies or something horrible happens? The reason I'm asking isn't me, it's my husband. He refuses to watch any animal movies because he was so traumatized by "Old Yeller" as a child. I'm actually thinking about buying the movie, so I need to know. I've already bought the book but haven't read it yet, so I don't know how it turns out.

So as not to blow the movie, I will only tell you that yes, it is sad - but not in a horrible way. Not like Cugo getting bitten by a rabid bat, getting sick and becoming a, well, rabid dog who is not so nice anymore. I will tell you this, my husband saw Old Yellar as well and it has haunted him. He will not watch Cujo, but he did go to the theatre with me to see Marley and Me and enjoyed the movie. Good movie, but bottom line:  yes, it is very sad.

Oh, glad to know that "Marley and Me" releases today. Hope the "Redbox" rentals will have it tomorrow, with a free rental code. Been wanting to see this one!!! Funny how "Old Yeller" affected everyone...I saw it on my 1st "date" (5th grade--parents drove us), and the name "Travis" intrigued me back from the 50's (old yeller's owners name I think) and I was going to name my son "Travis" cause of that..wasn't a popular name back then. But I had daughters, so didn't do that...lol.

Well, I hate to say it, but...I was disappointed in this movie. Maybe I expected too much, but the only parts I liked were some of the funny ones, and then the emotional part. I hope everyone else enjoys it much more than I did!

Oh ladies...I had no idea this threas was out there until I found it looking for something else! I'm so glad I saw this movie...it's the only thing that kept me from blowing a blood vessel the other day when my little man ate my blackberry. I just kept picturing Marley eating the couch and told myself "it could be worse". Blackberry must be made by Timex because it still works...even though there is no back on it..one of the side casings is torn off and there are teeth marks on just about every inch of it...the screen still works and so do the buttons. He also did heavy damage to the leather case but...it's still primarily in once piece so - it matches the phone at least!
