Wishes for Slonedeb

Sunday morning, sunny and warm, forgot to turn the clock back. Came to check on dear Deb and now understand you're receiving hospital support. Thank you for letting us know Deb and callings for your caretakers to gracefully meet your needs. Angels in the room overlooking you, and the warmth of the Spirit for the souls of your medical team and family.
Sisters and brothers here are united in our prayers for you, Deb. May this buoy you in a moment to moment way, as we seek our faith in churches or homes around the world, saying a prayer for our SloneDeb.
May Grace be with you and yours,
Tender

Deb, So sorry that this has been such a struggle. May you be surrounded by your loving family and a caring and wise medical team. I'm glad you are getting treatment for the pneumonia and getting those oxygen levels up where they need to be. I pray that this will be successful for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sue

Nightly prayers for you Deb. May you feel our presence surrounding and caring for you in your sleep.Tender
-
May the God of grace and mercy be near to you.... may he ease your pain and grant you peace. May we all look to him for guidance and direction. Help us to ride out our storms Lord, and be with deb as she rides hers. In your holy name I pray... Amen
-
Dear Slonedeb..... I'm leaving for the airport & my early flight.
Couldn't unplug my machine will I sent you greetings, hugs and encouragement.
Yesterday our kayak-trip among the manatees was so up-lifting. I must believe that a Creator who can design a happy lumbering creature like a manatee, to purely mystify and make us smile, must also have all of the details of our existence under control.
I love Pammy's words above: May the God of grace and mercy.
May we remember that we are children of a gracious and merciful God. When in the throes of pain that may be a difficult task to remember, but all of the more important to know in your heart.
I will speak to the angels today on your behalf as I wizz thru heaven.

I just spoke with slonedeb. She is home from the hospital but really having trouble breathing. The tumor is pressing against her lung. Add to that the complication of pneumonia and you know she is struggling. She is on breathing treatments every 4 hours along with some antibiotics and cough medicine. She asked about kbug. Please keep her in your prayers. She is planning to start on a new chemo soon. Pam
-
Pammy, thank you for reaching out to our sweet Slonedeb.
And an even bigger thank you for keeping us in the loop.
Much love in the midst of such struggles for the basics, Slonedeb. Much love.

There is no sorrow, Lord, too light
To bring in prayer to Thee;
There is no anxious care too slight
To wake Thy sympathy.
Thou, who hast trod the thorny road,
Wilt share each small distress;
The love which bore the greater load
Will not refuse the less.
There is no secret sigh we breathe
But meets Thine ear divine;
And every cross grows light beneath
The shadow, Lord,of Thine.
-
Footsie, your imagery is so strong...."the thorny road"

-
...that leads us into light!

-
I'm glad you are home Slonedeb. I hope your breathing is easier. Gentle hugs.
-
Slonedeb. Praying you've had some restorative sleep..... that your breathing has been calmed and supported and that the promise of spring in the calling birds, helps lighten the load.
Can there be joy in the midst of suffering?
Can there be peace in the midst of heart-ache?
Can there be assurance in the midst of anxiety?
Can there be calm in the midst of the unknown?
Can there be acceptance in the midst of the questions?
Can there be life in the midst of the battle?
Slonedeb. Your answer to all of those questions for us has been YES.
You have embodied the answer of YES. You have witnessed to the answers being YES.
You have demonstrated thru your example, that the answer can be YES.
I pray for a miracle for you Deb. I ask for rich blessings.
I hope that you know what a difference you've made in my life, and the lives of others.
Your willingness to endure -- as we search for a cure is a light for us all.
Our Creator trusts you so much and you've been a valiant reflection of that trust.
I commend you for all that you've done to shine to us here.
When you are ready -- fly to those angels ready to greet you..... not a minute early, but when you are ready. We will be here to hold up each other. We will know that you're watching over us. We will know that you are imploring the Heavens for our cure.
May you have strength for today, Slonedeb.
May the strength of our collective SloneRangers, and the friendship of your Kbug, encourage you for this day.

Dear Deb I am glad you are home. I was watching a tv preacher last night who really boosted my spirits. He said whatever situation we are facing and praying about the answer may be CLOSER Than We Think. That the enemy is coming hard against us because our answer is closer to us. So Deb hang in there. I know I have my pity party days and when we feel so bad it is easy to get down. But we are encouraging you to ride the storm. I love you we all do. God bless you and all the sloane rangers....
-
Kbug. What words of comfort.
We are a very good team.
Slonedeb. Wishing you strength for tonight's restorative sleep.
We are all here to gather round and help keep watch tonight.
I'll bring you a cup of warm soup to nourish your dreams.
