Our dear Deb we are thankful you are hanging in there. Ride the storm our dear sister. Try placing a Bible under your pillow. It does work. Tell your dear hubby we are so glad you have him a wonderful and loving man. May you have a better week this week and that the chemo is kicking bc butt... God bless and love to you .

Deb, What a hero you are to so many here. You have shown us such strength and courage. You ride your storms out so well. Just wanting to let you know how much we love you and are so concerned for you. Glad the pain meds are helping. Don't be so hard on yourself dear. You probably needed that good meltdown. I offer a prayer for you now:
Our Father, I come to you humbly, on bended knees, beseeching you for help for our slone deb. Father she is so weak and so tired from riding so many storms. She gets her strength from you and we know that. I just thank you that she is on enough medicine to help with her pain and I pray she is alert enough to have time together with you. It is so frightening God. Like a horror movie at times. Please bless our dear deb. Grant her comfort and peace. Be with her family and allow them to gather around her and show her their love. Thank you for this dear special friend, Lord. Be merciful to her. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

May you have a restful sleep, Deb. Thank you for your words, to let us know of your stance. May you know we're gathered round, while not present, always thinking of you. May your ears hear our voices when your eyes too are closed in sleep. May your DH and your friend feel our support, along with you, every moment of each day.
We'll ride out our storms both individually and together. For in support and understanding, there lies greatness of human spirit and acceptance.
Peace,
Tender

Slonedeb..... thanks so much for this most recent post of yours. We learn so much from your example and your sharing. What a great friend -- to help you with getting some nutrition before you're given the possibility of sleep.
I'm so glad that your husband and sometimes your friend read the prayers here to you -- and to one another. We are so glad to keep our Slonedeb company, to offer encouragement and to send up prayers. We offer what we are able. Our companionship and our community of hope.
We ask for mercy and compassion on our friends.

Slonedeb. I'm at the airport and at my gate -- awaiting my flight this morning.
As I wing thru the heavens I will be speaking to the angels, amidst the clouds, asking them to shower you with compassion & care..... keeping you company & offering support in the midst of all that is unfolding.
Kbug & Curlie, there's plenty of time for me to sprinkle those prayers with your names as well. Know that I keep you at the top of my list, right next to our Slonedeb.
We can offer support and encouragement. We can pray for one another..... and so we do.
Do all that you can to get some nourishment today. Take good care of yourselves.
Daffodil: congrats on reaching this first milestone, may you be blessed with many more celebrations to come.
Big hugs to each & all of the SloneRangers.

Another one sending you good wishes. I hope Kentucky had a sunny day. Everyone responds to sunshine, warmth, smells, thoughts of gardens and Spring. I hope you're able to open the curtains or crack open a window, and hear the birds sign. They're singing you our chorus of support.

Slonedeb. Here's a funny story from my world today.
I was picked up at the Phillie airport in a stretch LIMO & was delivered here to Atlantic City an hour later. I'd never, ever been in a limo before.
What a hoooooooooooooot.
I knew how excited you'd be for me.
Still not sure how it happened like that, but I enjoyed the fairy-princess treatment.
Hope that you giggle, just thinking about this -- cuz I laughed out loud in earnest.

The birds are outside my window singing a wonderful song. I had been sitting here thinking about how everyone is wanting to fear my scan results. How I am really okay with waiting till see the dr next week for the report. I was second guessing myself should I call when Suddenly the birds started and I was once again at peace. Gods wonders never end. He knows just what we need. I am praying your week is going well and waiting to hear from you. Hey we all are. Lets all ride our storms. Deb God bless you and your hubby and kids....

Kbug, isn't it amazing how we hear God comforting us and speaking to us in the small things. I love that small, still voice. Praying your scan reports will be good news.
Slonedeb, may you in the quietness of your day, hear that comforting reassurance from God that you are not alone. May you and your family know that he is with you and will never leave you or forsake you. I'm praying for times of peace and free of pain for you. Check in with us when you are able. Ride out you storms.
-
Deb, I too am thinking of you and praying for you.
Kbugmom, you are in my thoughts and prayers as well.
Hugs, Traci
-
Sending you both good wishes this morning, Deb and Kbug, that your trials and anxiety be minimized and your peace of mind show forth. Keeping you both in my prayers and thoughts.Tender
-
Deb it is warm here today and going to get lots of rain this weekend. Then we will turn colddddd again. How are you and the family my dear friend? Keep looking up. I am feeling better since able to eat better. Have a blessed weekend. God bless.

Read several back posts, Deb, and see you're pretty heavily sedated from the pain meds to allow comfort from the pain. I am so very sorry you are going through this, Deb. It's just horrible that pain limits us, wiping our mind from clear to cloudy. Please know we all surround you these days, praying for your care, for your peace in spirit, for a miracle and for mercy from suffering.
May you be comforted by help, may help be available to comfort, may you remember we're riding this storm with you.
Praying for you, Deb.
Tender
