Prayers for Deb C

Deb, I have begun to think about Christmas~~so have begun "ridding out", as my grandmother said. I started with the box of cards, etc. I received after my surgery in February. I saved some that were special to share:
Each memory holds the promise of a brighter day ahead.
Wishing you healing days, hopeful days, brighter days~~~
because you mean so much to so many.
-
Much love to you and your dear family today, Deb.
Know that as I bounce around from spot-to-spot and responsibility-to-responsibility, I carry you with me, in my heart........ asking for blessings to be given to you in the midst of this journey. Asking prayers for mercy and compassion to surround you in these days of trial.
Be strong and when you're not -- rely on those who have strength to spare, in that minute.
We are all here for you.

Dear Deb. I've been searching around some of the usual threads -- searching for an update on how your world is progressing, and haven't found any up-to-date news.
I wish with all my heart that it means you're curled up in an afghan, sipping hot chocolate and telling stories of holidays past and those at hand -- remembering delightful memories and making plans. Know that I have you in my heart and in my prayers.
Strength and courage. Strength and courage. Strength and courage.

Sharing another card with you, dear Alaska Deb:
A special prayer that you'll be blessed with tender care and needed rest,
warm thoughts of friends that mean so much, and most of all,
God's healing touch.
Blessings~~~~
-
Deb, I have also been thinking of you. I pray that you have a good holiday season with your family and that God will fill your life with the peace you need.
-
Deb, sending you strength for the issues of the day, smiles to light your way.
Stay warm.
Glow with delight as we approach the wonder of the season.

My northern Deb-sister......... always thinking of how you're doing and the progress that you're making. What an example of faith you are to all of us. How blessed you are to have the support of your wonderful husband and the gorgous daughters. (I saw pics of them on your blog recently.)
Know that I hold you up in my prayers at all times -- asking for mercy and compassion, seeking wisdom for your medical team, asking for strength and courage on your behalf.
I hope and pray that you can appreciate this holiday season and that you continue to regain your vitality, humor and wit.

Deb- I have been MIA, but you are in my prayers. I have been searching around for you tonight, but this is the closest I could come.
I pray you have a peaceful holiday with your family.Know that you bring so much to others here with your words. I hope you are still writing, sharing your wisdom and stories.
Gentle Hugs and Huge Smiles for you!
-
Dear Deb, I have been fighting my own battles lately, I really want you to know I am praying for you and hoping you have a very nice Holiday You are a person that when I get overfull with test and unknown, I read how wonderful and strong you have been. Thankyou and may God bless you. Debbie too.
-
Deb C, starting my day with prayers for your story. Prayers of support and encouragement.
Wondering just how you are progressing of late. I understand that it's a s-l-o-w process and you're more about lightning than snails (at least that's the impression I've gotten) so I'd imagine there are more than a few frustrations over the pace of your recovery.
Know that you are surrounded by prayers -- coming from all across the countries, literally from around the globe.
I hope that you have a glimmer of peace today in the midst of your story. Remember, I've always thought it's a BEST seller!
much love to you and yours.

Deb, this isn't a prayer, but a story about a little angel~~~but I know it will light up your eyes!
A Christmas Story for people having a bad day:
When four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the Pre-Christmas pressure.
Then Mrs Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.
When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, Heaven knows where. Then when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were scattered. Frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drunk all the cider and hidden the rum.
In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.
Just then the doorbell rang, and irritated Santa marched to the door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas tree. The angel said very cheerfully, 'Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't this a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?'
And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.

Hey my Deb C, from your other Deb C.
Tomorrow's my real birthday! I'm gonna wish on the first star up north that I see..... I'll be making wishes like a kindergartner -- asking for your return to happy-town and progress all around.
I'll officially be faithandfiftyTWO, but have decided not to attempt to change my moniker every year as that could get confusing...... just want you to know that I'm aging gracefully.
I'll celebrate for all Deb Cs across the country, around the globe. Birthdays are a good thing, after all!
much love

Happiest of Happy New Years.
Deb, thinking of you as we walk across the threshold into new possbilities, new opportunities, new memories that need to be made.
I'm praying for your continued progress, for the miracle of time -- that you might continue to be our Great North Star, guiding those dear daughters and loving that amazing man of yours,
I realize that it's very selfish of me to hope that your returning vigor would return you to us, but that's my hope. I know what joy your humor has lent to this forum and how you've inspired so many here. My new year's hope would be to have you return to us.
In the meantime I will continue to pray for your progress.
Sending you strength and courage for the living of these days.

Deb I read on another thread that you continue to have progress and enthusiasm.
I'll keep praying that your team of medical folks offers up their very best effort on your behalf. It sounds wonderful the progress that you're making.
The best news from the report:
"She's still Deb."
And that is why you are a role model to us here. Despite the realities all around you, you've kept your spunk and spirit. Keep fighting. Keep fighting.
Strength and courage. Strength and courage. Borrow some of it from the rest of our community, when you need a little extra.
We're all here for you, holding you up.
