Spar, as soon as I can get all the stuff back into the room I will send you some photos.
You have a PM too.
To all my mountian gals....Wishing you a wonderful Sunday
-
Good Morning to everyone on the mountain. It's going to be a wonderful Sunday. Getting snow here and just love the snow when I don't have to drive in it. We have food, good company and football! What else could a person ask for.
I'm still nursing this darn cold, but all in all feeling much better than I did on Friday. Why is it that Hot Tea always tastes better when your sick with a cold? Might even have a little tea party later with some of my good friends.
This will be me today, when I'm not cuddled up in my afghan.
Jewelz: I saw you asked elsewhere what kind of nurse I am. I have an advanced degree in nursing and I'm onc certified. I got to different hospitals to evaluate patients with cancer - usually stage 4 for rehab. It's an upper level management position so I don't pass medications or do treatments. The best part about my job is the support I give to the patients and their families when they are in crisis. So it is demanding physically and emotionally. Thats why I like the mountains. I can come here and let my mind drift away.
Have a wonderful day in the mountains. I will be sitting in a lodge by the fireplace. Thinking about how wonderful my friends are.

Mary-Lou, can hardly wait to see some of your crafts. It looks like it has been quiet on the mountain today we will have to change that tomorrow. Have no energy today. Everyone have a great evening.
-
Nicki...hoping you are feeling better...what a rotten way to spend the long weekend!!

Good Morning Mountain Friends. We got snow last night and it's so pretty this morning. Just enough to make it look like a White blanket is covering the ground. I sure miss the birds singing in the morning.
Thanks Socal - I think I might just be feeling better today. Took an antibiotic last night! So much for thinking this is viral.
Have a great day.

Hello mountain friends, Hope all has had a goodmorning.
Mary-Lou love that Christmas tree.
It is raining and snowing here in the mountains today. We will have to hike back to our cottage or snuggle in our tent today.

All trying to stay warm

Spar: What in the world are you talking about?
Nicki
-
Nicki, I think spar is talking about the post above.
Here it is:
Jewelz: I saw you asked elsewhere what kind of nurse I am. I have an advanced degree in nursing and I'm onc certified. I got to different hospitals to evaluate patients with cancer - usually stage 4 for rehab. It's an upper level management position so I don't pass medications or do treatments. I didn't see your photos, where are they?

MaryLou: Thats what I mean. What photos is Spar talking about? Somethings not right around here. And with that I bid you all a good day.

Spar is a member of the oh so lovely Cabana Club where her true colors show through.
Thinking that Spar was a sweet and kind person I befriended her and liked her very much but the constant hatred that the Cabana Club keeps spilling into others lives and its simply wrong.
Not only is Nicki constantly attacked but Blue is attacked as well.
Spars "innocent" reminder this morning comes from posts at the Cabana where the following picture was posted of Chemosabi (as the one in the middle)
she is also slammed on a contant basis there regarding her nursing career. One lovely example of the "innocent" parodies they do
"...don't they know that's why I work with nursing homes cos those poor old souls can't complain about me and if they do, I just say it's the onset of Alzheimers! Bwaahahah Been doin that for years and it just keeps working. "
For some unknown reason it seems that constant slurs are forever flying back and forth between the two groups. Its disqusting and childish.
Having the beach thread that is exclusive to only a select few and now the mountain thread that is no different is ridiculous. This is not the place for such garbage. I personally believe both threads should be deleted and this become a true support site instead of the nasty clique it has become.
Chemosabi I must say that I don't understand why you come here at all. You are constantly slammed and parodied for every post you make. Its a free country and you should be allowed to post wherever and whatever you like but why give ammunition to those who wish to hurt you. You are right, something is not right around here and it will never change.
Yes I changed my user name to make this post as I am a regular poster who stays out of the little "cliques" and won't play the games but I will defend those that are being mistreated.
Spar If you with to be a Cabana girl then why not stay with the Cabana girls where you can be as nasty as they are. I never would have believed you could have such a "different" side to you until now.
-
Tiredofgame, you say you defend those who are being mistreated? Where were you when they jumped all over Angel?
-
I personally have no idea who jumped all over Angel...or why she was banned...obviously she did something that the moderators here didn't like. You don't get banned from this site without good reason. It is not up to the members here who stays and who goes. From what I have seen, Angel is not a fitting name for someone who uses the language she uses on a daily basis. Anyone who can post such vile nastiness doesn't deserve to be called an angel.
I stand behind what I say. Act like adults and stop this nonsense. We are all fighting the same battle and I for one am losing the battle. Leaving behind my children is the most heartache I can bear and I see no reason to create more with underhanded nastiness.
If anyone here were to die tomorrow, what would you say to them today. Would you do parodies and throw slurs. I should hope not.
-
Enough ladies..this isn't the time for place for any more ot this nonsense..
-
Tiredofgame, you say you defend those who are being mistreated? Where were you when they jumped all over Angel?
Oh for gosh sakes- enough alreadywith the poor angel crap
-
Chestnuts and Tiredofgame, I do believe it is against the rules to be posting under another name, when you are already registered under a separate one. If I have something to say, I say it under my own name.
Nobody said anything about "poor Angel". I was only asking a question.
Now why don't you girls play nice and go back to the Mountain like it's supposed to be. Sheesh!!
-
tiredofgame if you are so tired of it say something to chemo about her b1tich picture she posted to me and Julz. We are all tired of the game so you stop it. You also said you befriended me, none of my friends would say stuff like you do. So you must not be any friend of mine.
-
Well I have looked through this entire thread and see that my pictures have only been nice, like they usually are. Tiredofgame - you are right, why do I come here? I shall not anymore.
Nicki
-
Nicki, you have got to be kidding me, right?
-
OK girls...on with Christmas in the Mountains...
-
I am not going to come back here. I dont need to watch people fling insults. I can listen to my daughters do that on a daily basis.
-
Well, dreamwriter sorry this has happened on this site, it is sad. I don't know who tired of game is but she must like causing hurts and trouble. You don't have to come back but I will miss you. I am going to take my usual hike through the mountain trails and see what I can find.
Took a walk down this beautiful road where the winter hasn't set in yet. The colors are happy colors.
Passed a sweet puppy. He was a friendly little guy
Loved the sunbeams through the trees

Hi all, accidently stumbled onto this site, what a great one! I just love all the lovely photos. Lots of places for me to visit! In my dreams that is.
-
this is a pretty wonderful place to dream at. Mary-Lou that is one of my favorite songs. Got to take a hike and see what I can find today. Enjoy the day and breath the deeply of the fresh mountain air.
It snowed overnight on parts of the mountain and I passed this guy going really fast, sure hope he don't crash, he had a huge smile on his face.
you can sure see where I have been hiking
What a beauty, can't you just see God in everything around you.
this dog loved being buried and petted. He even ate part of my sandwich out of my hand
I backed off very quiety from this one but isn't he a beauty
-
Spar, I loved the bird, I set it as my wall paper.
I am getting ready to shower and go to my girls night out with my BC support group. I'm hungry, so I can't wait.
It's Mexican tonight. I will be eating tums I'm sure.
Wishing all a great afternoon.

I absolutely LOVE the photos as we don't have snow here in Florida!
