Nicki
this is the little town in the mountains of central Italy where my
grandfather was born in 1872...
Not much there I don't think
It is called Schiavi d'Abruzzo
-
lisa, it looks like a beautiful place, it is just so different than what we see around here, like it is built right into the mountain.
Chemo, you cracked the nut right on the head with the nutcracker ballet. I did enjoy the red balloons. Your songs weren't very nice though.
Julz, you cracked me up with bad day by the chipmunks and what beautiful mountain pictures in the sound of music video.
sicily looks like my kind of place, blue water, white sand, canoeing, walking the beaches there. You guys have a good evening. I am tired and hungry and will back later.
-
We are all sitting around the campfire singing songs what a wonderful time.
-
-
Thanks spar, I was looking for something sweet
-
I have some entertainment...I went to a renewal of marriage vows with a Scottish flair, many there with their tartans ...we even had a bagpiper...so I brought him home
-
Cool Lisa!
-
Good Morning to everyone at the mountains. Bringing some sunshine your way before it's time to hit the showers.
SoCal: The village looks very Italian! I kept looking at the houses and then it dawned on me - they probaby dont have central air conditioning. I love the bagpiper.
Spar: Music is a matter of one's interpretation. Sorry you didn't like the music, but who doesn't like music from that wonderful ballet. "The Nutcracker." It's probably the biggest ballet around Christmas time. That and the Rockettes Christmas show. Which I have tickets for this year.

Oh NIckie, I wasn't talking about the nutcracker, I was talking about the song under your picture of sicily (your get yourself a gun song) I'm sure you will truly enjoy "The Nutcracker" and Christmas show. Thanks for all the sunshine.
Every one have a great day on the mountain. Later I am taking a walk and see what I find today.

this is awsome, don't miss it, it will take your breath away.
-
Julz, I don't know what I did wrong but it is not having the music with the pictures??? help?? here and on the beach.
-
Chemosabi = I prefer skis but since I lose energy so quickly, I'd be safer with the sled - but could it be horse drawn? That would be nice. Maybe my scooter could be outfitted with little chains on her wheels?
