Slonedeb, sweet dear slonedeb.
starting my morning, with prayers on your behalf.
Off to get the day underway. Have a long list for the week ahead. I travel back to MI again this week and then end the week with a holiday concert @ a library a few hours up the road (somehow, I'd forgottttttten about this committment -- till her reminder email arrived late last night)
It's a good thing to be able to have lots going on. Keeps my mind focused on the positive.
Happy weekend to all the Slone Rangers out there, sending up prayers for our sister-slone.

Slonedeb. I'm home from my day-long fun @ the recording studio, where I've worked over the past ten years. It was so much fun. So very much fun.
We worked hard on getting the pieces orchestrated with harmonies. What a good time.
Now it's time to get organized for the work we have remaining to do tomorrow.
a big warm hug to send you off to sleep: safe and warm, filled with dreams of happiness

Slonedeb, my dear. I saw on another thread that ShopMama had spoken to you over the phone, sometime around Thanksgiving day. I was so relieved. Reading her brief report gave me a lot of hope: that you're weathering yet another storm.
Know that I continue to hold you up in my prayers. Today's gonna be busy, but I'm planning to go to church this morning, before returning to the recording studio....... I'll say 'official' prayers for you in that holy place. I know that my prayers are continual, but somehow getting them said in 'church' makes them feel more direct. (I guess that's sorta silly, now that I sit here and type it, but I hope that you know what I mean.)
I wonder what this new day will bring? I wonder what possibilities are ahead for you today? I wonder what marvel may still excite you? I wonder if you'll be putting up a Christmas tree today? I wonder if there's a surprise hovering in your near future? I wonder how to inflate your 'hope account'?
sending you all sorts of hugs.............

. I have two Garden Club members coming in a few hours to make 2 wreaths for a local performing arts museum. This will the be the "halt leading the blind"!!I am thinking of you daily and praying for you nightly, our dear Kentucky Warrior Queen!

Just read faith's post of ShopMama talking with you. So glad to hear she touched base and that you continue on. Lovely posts by all. Makes me jealous of all of the creativity the ladies have.I hope your doing o.k., Deb. I think of you often, and keep praying that this new chemo is kicking the cancer's bu**. I'm sure it's brought on new and old SE's and hope you fully understand that even when out of sight you're not out of alls mind.Prayers for a good upcoming week for you and all deb.Tender

Slonedeb. Winter is encroaching, sneeking up on us. It's staying dark later into the morning and it is so dark already!! Wow. The season's march along.
All went well at the recording studio today and we've made incredible progress!! Since there are no windows in our 'booth' -- I missed the entire day's supply of light. It POURED while I drove from church to the studio. If that would have been snow, we'd have been digging out for days!
Think I'll "turn in early" tonight.
We had a fresh pear tonight to top off our dinner and it was outta this world. Just peeled it and sliced it and I gotta say, as much as I appreciate dessert -- this was just completely delicious.
I wish you a great tasting pear..... maybe I'll wish you a partridge in a pear tree, while I'm at it!!

Monday morning and thinking of you, Deb. Lots of hugs and good wishes for you as you go about your week. I can't recall if this is an on week or off, but do hope you are finding the ?Ixempra tolerable. I hear it's a tough chemotherapy and I hope you're not feeling tingling in your feet. How's your swelling, any better?Perhaps someone at home will read your Sloneranger's posts to you; may they give you encouragement and comfort to know we're all pulling for you Deb.Tender

slonedeb. it's been a big day....... i'm worn out, as usual...... but i'm always aware that is a good thing.
i got our wreath on the front door this morning.... it's the little things that bring such a sense of contentment and accomplishment for me.
wondering how you're holding up.
it would be so great to hear a word from you.
i hope that you're doing everything that you can to take good care of yourself
sending you a warm hug.........

Sharing another card with you, dear SloneDeb:
A special prayer that you'll be blessed with tender care and needed rest,
warm thoughts of friends that mean so much, and most of all,
God's healing touch.
-
Slonedeb. We're all gathered round, whispering this morning -- so we don't wake you up.
It's been quite a slumber party here and I know that we're all grateful for your inviting us over for some happy cheer and silly nonsense. Those old home videos that you shared were a hoot!!
You're not getting older, you're getting better. Like fine wine and vintage cars.
much love as I start my day...... tomorrow I leave for the rest of the week..... another trip up to MI. I don't know how connected I'll be for the next several days -- it's out in the middle of no where. the last time I was up there, I didn't even have phone service!!
take good care of yourself.
Slone Rangers, I know that you always are able to 'step up' when I go out of town. I trust you will again.

Slonedeb. I'm mostly packed for my departure in the morning.
I'm headed back to MI..... out in the middle of no where. Last time I didn't even have cell phone reception -- so I don't know that I'll have any connection to the web. I'll be gone for the rest of the week.
I'll be sending you prayers from the road, the old fashioned way.
blessing to you and all of the Slone Rangers.

I will work hard to think the best, without knowing any specifics of what you're facing right now, I will pray that you are finding the strength and support to face each hour that you are given.
I pray that your pain is being managed and that your care is being directed. Know that we are always here, praying for you.
Ride out your storms. Ride out your storms. RIDE OUT YOUR STORMS. Ride out your storms.

Deb we are missing you can you tell. Hoping it is only computer issues keeping you off. The weather here today is warming up. Will be nice to not be so chilly. Here on the N.C. coast we don't ususally stay cold to long at a time but this year winter cam early. I bet you have seen snow a few times.
I had trouble sleeping last night since I had scan and chemo yesterday. Was up alot of night so turned to a christian station. They were playing soothing music showing seens of the ocean and mountains with snow on the peaks. They were doing verses from the Psalms. Made me think again of how God created all this and we have doubts of what he will do for us.We will climb again in the boat and ride out our storms while he calms our seas. He will we must keep the faith and believe. Stand still and know he is God and there is nothing he won't do for us his children. So Deb sending hugs and blessings to you...
-
