Hey, Slonedeb. I just updated my blog with a couple of pictures of the babeez growing bigger and "reading" with their older brother for the first time.
I know your computer's had troubles getting images from here.
If you have a chance to click:
www.rainbowswithinreach.blogpot.com
I hope they bring a smile to your day.

good night dear Slonedeb, keeper of the faith, one of determination and strength.
i hope that your day today has been one from strength -- and not too filled with the roller coaster of emotions and depression that some times have tormented you in the past.
please know that i've thought of you throughout the day, sending you prayers and energy, strength and courage, hope and determination.
i will be hoping that you are able to have some solid sleep tonight.

slonedeb. it's officially Saturday, the big game for our little cow-town: OSU vs. MI. whooo hoooo.
not quite the game of years past, not as much riding on the outcome. still a rivalry.
i'm gonna run over to the babeez, as they want to get some painting done..... then back for the game. little progress -- always makes me feel like there's forward movement.
sending you prayers of strength and courage. how is your attitude today? i'd imagine it's still a roller coaster. hang on tight and ride it, sister. squeel when you need to.
"ride out your storms."

Wishing you a good Saturday, with some fun mixed in during the day. Maybe a granddaughter's visit, a new movie, a different dinner plan. Such small changes of pace keep us moving forward.Prayers for you,Tender
-
OK......... everyone can breathe a little easier -- now that our Buckeyes have one, the pulse of the city returns to normal. silly, how a game can hold so much fascination -- for so many, but it truly does. distractions are sometimes helpful, slonedeb, aren't they?
sending you some Saturday energy.................
i took a nap this afternoon -- just like a toddler. feels good.

Deb hello dear. I pray your weekend has gone well. I have thought of you often today. With the cold weather hope you are snuggling with hubby. I have two of my grands here. My grandson and a granddaughter keep me hopping. He is a mama boy at night cries for her. He is good during the day. They are watching the jetsons cartoon. I love that one lol. Pray you are feeling better and stronger. I know my chemo kicked me big time this week. Sometimes makes me feel so yuck but I still got the kids. They know if I feel to bad to give me a break. I will take em home later today. Then I will get home and hit the couch. lol We are so blessed even through our storms.Love and hugs to you Deb...
-
Dear Deb, God bless you tonight, That you may sleep well, You are a very special lady, With alot of love in your heart. I am sending you an angel hug to help you sleep and dream good dreams,
God loves you and so do I.
-
Slonedeb..... we're home from our day's adventure to see the neices and their families. The one neice is 41 and just about to have her fourth child -- any minute now. Their oldest is 16 years old, so they'll have quite a range of kids, won't they?
Waiting to hear from you. Eager to know how you're holding up. Did you have anything special to occupy your weekend? We had our Buckeye's win big time & then our Browns got clobbered: BIG time.
Tomorrow's a "school day" so I'd better go get organized for that fun.
xx00xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
sleep well.... hope that you can get some quality rest.

Deb I pray you had a great weekend. Happy Monday my friend. Cloudy here and a lil warmer so that is nice. Trying to get motivated to clean. lol I get chemo on wed. so I need to get done my cleaning before then. I am cooking for Thanksgiving so I also have to shop. Where are you eating? Will it be you and hubby cooking together? If mine helped me oh the mess he would make. LOL I am not cooking as much as usual we always have way to much leftovers. I will probably have soup since day after chemo is a yuck taste day. Let us know how you are. GOD bless and sending hugsssss.
-
Another one here hoping your weekend was good, and this week will be too. I think you're on this week for chemo, aren't you Deb? Seem to recall it's every two weeks. I had a Thanksgiving on chemo, and took to soup and mashed potatoes without gravy. Just warmth and easy on the stomach was ok. I do hope your swelling isn't worsening, Deb as it can make one so uncomfortable. We'll carry on our Thanksgiving talk this week for sure. I'm thankful for being here and with my family.((Hugs to you))Tender
-
Slonedeb...... all of us are gathered around real close, wishing you strength and wellness.
How about if I light a little fire in the fireplace. I love to watch the flicker of the flames as they dart about. We could listen to some of your favorite music and tells stories from when we were kids.
It's been such a gloomy-gray-rainy Monday around here. I'm so fortunate that I was able to go spend the day with little kiddos. They brighten my mood, when ever I get the chance to get my guitar out for them. The weeee ones (about 18mos old) were brave enough to strum my guitar this morning. Fun.
We're having company for dinner..... so I must go clear away the debris that stacks up when I take these trips. What a hoot -- I hardly ever cook. My hubby's gonna be flabber-gasted.

Deb hello, How are you doing this beautiful day? I was thinking it would be nice to have you here and for us to just yak yak yak. We could talk about all the silly things we have done as well as the tough times. Maybe one night you can go into chat there are many new ones there but us oldies also. We still get silly there. Last night several ladies had no idea what candy corn was. On lady emailed em a pic. Yes from there got sillier. LOL But remember laughter is like a medicine says so in the bible. So today find something to laugh about. Have a blessed day. HUGSSSSS...

Missing you Deb, and hope you're o.k. I'm resting now, but earlier braved the turkey lines with coffee cup in hand. Kinda like Sarah Palin but in the store. Did you see her turkey clip on youtube? It's hysterical (almost typed historical which it is kinda too, LoL).Keeping you and yours in my thoughts,Tender

Slonedeb...... have arrived home happily from my big day w/my very special little-peeps. Goodness how they motivate me. So many are in wheel chairs, or use standing boards or other physical therapy interventions to do some of the most simple tasks.
I move my guitar, a big trunk on wheels and a boom box from room-to-room -- for 11 different classes from the teenies to the capable preschool age..... it's quite an array of children. I'm so fortunate to get to spend time there.
Just want you to know that I'm thinking of you and wishing for a post from you. Wonder what you're planning for Thanksgiving day?
I just love to read the encouragement from all of your Slone Rangers. Such good folks here.Know we are all thinking of you, and sending you prayers.

Dearest Deb and all the Slone Rangers:
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!

May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have never a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs! -
slonedeb, i'm typing with our little red-headed bouncy-babe in my lap.... we'll see if i can make any sense under these glorious conditions.... she's a real mover & shaker!! at barely 7 months she is now crawling from one end of their house to the other.... her 'big' brother is not nearly as capable at making progress across the floor -- i think he's just toooooo big, but his day will arrive, as well. my how much they've learned in these short months on this planet!
wondering, wondering, wondering how you're doing........... my thanksgiving wish is that we'd hear from you -- or one in your family, to give us a bit of insight.
i'm praying that your pain is being managed by the medication and that you are able to have some lucid reflection on your blessings of this life.
maybe the computer has had some issues and kept you from us?? know that we are all gathered here, sending you strength and encouragement.
"Ride out your storms, sister. Ride out your storms."
And when you've had enough storm-riding, then go with grace and join your mother who awaits your heavenly arrival, patiently and with open arms. You've taught us much. We're grateful for your guidance and friendship. You have much to be proud of -- at this time of year, and always.

Stopping by to wish you well, Deb. I hope your spirits are elevated by the thanksgiving before us, and that you can taste and enjoy the food it brings forth. It's been a while for you since you posted, so I hope you're at home and just too tired to post and not too ill.Saying a prayer for you and all this night. The Slonerangers are on plan, on time, and hopefully within turkey day budget, so may you all have a good Thanksgiving. Daffodil, your picture and rhyme is on target and very funny.Tender
-
Slonedeb. It's time to go get tucked into bed....... I'll pop in and plump up your pillows first, on my way down the hallway.
Maybe I could light a couple of scented candles to breathe some fresh air into your room. I liked Kbug's idea earlier that we could sit and talk. Share stories, tell a few jokes.
We're having a very low-key day tomorrow. it will actually just be my husband and I tomorrow. Then on Friday will be our day for getting everyone together. Our Denver family will be in by then and join the rest of us -- for food and fun.
We'll have all five our grands under one roof. Will be pretty wild and crazy, food fun.
I wish you all of the very best that's possible for you and your family.

Dear Deb, I have been thinking about Thankgiving, I am very thankful to have a met you and know how strong and wonderful of a woman you are. God bless you this Turkey day and I pray that you have a wonderful rest, Please take care, Debbie too

Deb I pray you and your family have a very blessed thanksgiving and I believe you will. You are a true friend to all who know you. Imagine many years from now how many jewels will be in your crown. I said many for I believe you have many more. I speak life into you... Tell that mt it must leave you. DESIRES OF OUR HEART FRIEND...
I was thinking of the silly things I would share with you.Or the very dumb things I did. The time at about maybe 8 or 9 I had a pet turtle.I wanted the turtle but I took my bike ran over it to see what would happen. Cant imagine me doing it now. That turtle traveled on vac to see my sis with us. When we left we forgot turtle. Well sis went on vac after us and when they returned you guessed it. He was dead and smelled up there house. Well I know not silly but I was a dumb kid. The time I had a crush on a kid who could not talk or hear I am trying to sign I love you I sure looked dumb doing it made a mess of things. See I was something else. Hey but I did good things to. I am sure I did something . lol One of my uncles lived in the country for a few years. His daughters said stay over and have fun .Well I was going to but they had a outdoor toilet or a chamber pot. Well you guessed it I went home. I loved my indoor plumbing. Should have stayed over and toughed it out. Wow being a kid was hard. LoL. See part of my warped life.lol We could share all kind of things. The good bad and ugly . Well I love you and sending hugs and well wishes.
-
Slonedeb. Sending you great smells and wonderful bites of love that fill you with gratitude for seeing this day arrive. I'm praying for your day to have mercy and compassion, amidst the pies and stuffing.
We have sunshine here and I think that it's transformed me. I am so tickled for turkey!!

xx00xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
Kbug. What's the up-date on your son's health situation. Still keeping him in my prayers as well.
-
Wow Faith a new baby. That is great news. Well my sons dr.had to take emergency leave so will be the first when he sees him and finds out all. I chatted with son on computer last night he seemed good. Told me he gets a promotion that day also. Thank you my dear friend for the prayers. It means so much to me.
Deb we are waiting on edge of our chairs to hear from you.I pray you have not been on because you are having way to much fun. Hugssss.
-
Faith, have you plans for a family band? A touring choral group to accompany you?

Deb, I wish we were hearing from you! I went through all my cards and flower tags from my surgery last February tonight, and saved a few with special messages. Here's one for you:
Each morning holds the promise of a brighter day ahead.
Wishing you healing days, hopeful days, brighter days~~~
because you mean so much to so many.
Love from all the Slone Rangers!
