SoCal: This is so cool. The thought of going to an ice carnival sounded like so much fun. So I typed in Ice Carnival to try and get some cool pictures. And look what I found. A pretty flower names "Ice Carnival."
This looks like a cool place. An enchanted Ice Castle.
Peek out the window and go ice skating in the mountains by the light of the moon!
Blue: This is for you. Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket. Never let it fade away.

I know, I know it's corny but I just love it.
Spar: I have to agree with 100% about that medical stuff. It actually would probably be a good discussion, but not here on the mountains. I come here cause I like to dream about nice things and for some reason, in the Winter - mountains sound wonderful. I didn't know it was your BD and I really hope you had a wonderful day. I liked your hugs post.

MaryLou: Your post made me giggle.
OK - it's Friday and I'm so glad I am home and have the week-end. Need to go check lots of places and catch up with some of my other friends. Have a grand evening.
Well Mountain friend. Tis The Season To Be Jolly! I think I will go sit by the fireplace and sip on a glass of 18 year old Jamesons. To sit here tonight and be Thankful.

Spar, with regard to your invite.....Thanks but No Thanks.
-
I don't think you had an actual invite.
-
Nicki, I too agree this is not the thread for fibromyaligia, thats why I couldn't understand why you brought it up in your previous post. I too come to the mountain to get away from it all. So now that is settled. Sorry blue, biker is right, it was not an actual invite. Now I would like to have some fun on the mountain and enjoy sitting around the campfire with my hot chocolate.
there is enough for everyone. I heard someone was bringing grahm crackers and hershey bars. we can make yummy smores.
-
Here you go Spar.......Enjoy!
-
Oh Yum Julz, thank you so much
-
Your Very Welcome.....Sweet One!
-
Good Morning Mountain Friends. It's a chilly Saturday morning here in the mountains. Glad I'm off and have the entire day to relax.
Spar, sometimes you confuse me. My post was just stating that I had a cold and my Fibro was kicking in. Made it hard for me to go to work. On any other day I would have called in sick, but since our census is down I don't have any choice but go to work. Regarding the invite. Been there, done that, and will never do it again.
SoCal: Yes lol, I was talking about Perry Como and the song Catch A Falling Star. Back then it didn't seem like Christmas without a Perry Como Christmas special. How times have changed.

Goodmorning, mountain friends. Catch a falling star has always been one of my favorite songs.
This would be a good day to find a frozen pond and go ice skating. Am taking a hike through the mountains this morning with my backpack filled with water and energy bars to see what I can see.
found an ice skating duck
some beautiful deer
a cold beaver
a beautiful little house in the woods and I am going to knock on the door and see if they will let me warm up and maybe serve me a cup of coffee or something. Have a good day all.
-
Here you go Girlz!!!
-
Wanted to say hello to everyone.
I'm cleaning/organizing and Michael is painting my craft room today.
Will be a very time consuming project. I have a feeling I'm going to find many things in there that I have forgotten about. (unfinished)
I love to watch HGTV, but need to get busy doing some of the stuff I watch others do....LOL
I haven't done scrap booking forever. Was making hand made cards last week and couldn't even find my card stock. Even finding tape and glue has become a
challenge.
So as you all can see I'm at the fed up stage.
Have a great day, and I will pop in later.
-
-
Mary-Lou, I am so into crafts, would love to see some stuff you have done or talk about some of the things you have made. Hope all has had a good time on the mountain. there is still some daylight left so thought I would take a walk and then take a picture of the sunset and post it later.
I passed some of the cutest bunny rabbits.
Passed this little guy begging for nuts.
I passed a snake in the grass, it was creepy. I hate snakes.
Have a great evening on the mountain. It has been a beautiful day. got to light the lantern and start the campfire.

Ewwww! That mountain snake is creepy. Good my mountains friends. I'm looking for the beautiful Christmas lights and campfires that will warm our souls and hearts. Hoping you all have a wonderful evening.
