Packs of baseball cards with the best gum in them.....then looking to see if you got any "good"cards....nowadays you can buy the whole series. It was so much fun to see if you got a player from one of your favorite teams.

Dippity-Doo and Kiss Curls, Pixie cuts when I was a kid! Watching Tiny Talent Time and Lawrence Welk with the whole family....sunday entertainment, LOL!

Anyone make go-carts as a kid? We used to make them with plywood, old 2x4's and old wheels off of I don't know what and then race them down the street.

Ivy...we used to make sleds out of plywood, washtub tops and cardboard boxes......
Cho Cho's...these were ice cream cups....

Spending all day long riding bikes and not going home until dinner. And no one was worried.

girls i remember most all of this but i really loved the elephant leg pants and the long dresses i think they called them grany dresses and the school dances we had in the gym and riding the school bus to a ballgame with other fans and one song ill never forget was where oh where can my baby be i think that was the name of it thanks girls for the memories deb from ky this really conforts me and takes me back to a time when this contry still put god first and didnt do anything till they prayed about it first i wish we could go back there deb rom ky

Do you guys remember those candy lipsticks, they tasted so good and those little wax bottles of juices. We played a lot of tether ball. Watched American bandstand. We did the twist, mashed potatoes, locamotion. played spin the bottle. Yes, it was a lot of fun.
