    Heavenly Father,

    As we kneel before Your throne of grace, we ask a special blessing and benediction upon Deb C. We particularly pray that You will shield and defend her from the ravages of fear and anxiety. Place Your protective mantle around her and her loved ones that they will be fearful of nothing. Help her, Father, to change these times of fear and apprehension into trust and assurance. Keep her steadfast and resolute of purpose in serving You and in doing Your will.  Lord, hear our prayer, for we give You praise, honor, glory and thanks.

    Dear Creator in Heaven.

    Our AlaskaDeb is truly a miracle in the making, we realize. Her zeal for life shines thru these boards and she is loved by many. Thank you for her example to us. Thank you for her medical team working wonder thru your direction. Thank you for her husband John, who cares so deeply. Thank you for the activity of her daughters -- that keeps the household humming. Thank you for the progress that our Deb is feeling.

    Grace her day with mercy and tenderness. Care. Angels of compassion. Send her encouragement and the realization of how very much she is loved.

    Each and everyone one of us are going through tough times right now, but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that only He can. Keep the faith.

    This prayer is powerful, and prayer is one of the best gifts we receive.
    There is no cost but a lot of rewards. Let's continue to pray for one another.

    Father, I ask You to bless Deb C and my BC friends, that I care deeply for, who are reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them your peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through your grace. Where there is need, I ask you to fulfill their needs. Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings. In Jesus' precious name. Amen.

    Heavenly Father. I ask that you send comfort and mercy, compassion and encouragement to our dear sister, Deb-of-Alaska throughout today and this weekend. You know how much she has been thru lately and there are so many of us here who learn from her example. We ask for a miracle to surround her and her dear family. We ask that her treatment be successful thru your divine direction and that her side effects be minimal and diminish daily.

    Bind up her spirit and enthusiasm to weather this storm. Bless her with your care.

    Oh Dear Lord God! I read on another thread of the progress that our Deb is making and the support her dear husband extends daily. Please continue to bless them both with enthusiasm and courage. Thank you for all of the angels intervening in this story. Strengthen their daughters in the midst of this frightening time, as their mommy returns to her former glory.

    Be with all of the friends of our Deb as they watch her efforts to return to wellness. I ask that you'd make her whole.

    Deb, I hope John can keep up with all your threads from the BC Cheerleaders! (Yes, we have changed into our winter uniforms: tiny little wool skirts and wool midriff sweaters with warm turtlenecks! Wink)

    my dear sweet sister in the lord and in this terible beast w are fighting deb know i think of you daily and pray to the good lord above thta you will soon be back with us oh deb i cry thinking that you are suffering us debs have been through so  much this year i pray it will let us see happy holidays with our faimlies and nor be in too much pain deb i wish i could just wrap my arms around you and tell you how much we love you you take faith ind know we all love and miss you here and cant wait till you are back with us and i know deep in my heart you will be back with us soon  my god keep you in the palm of his hands and ride out your storms dear sweet deb  love deb from ky

    Chief Deb, what wise words from Kentucky Deb!! Here's a Celtic prayer I just sent to her that we'll share with you and the Tribe:

    For the first showings of the morning light

    and the emerging outline of the day

    thanks be to you, O God.

    For earth's colours drawn forth by the sun

    its brilliance piercing the clouds of darkness

    and shimmering through leaves and flowing waters

    thanks be to you.
