Hair growth pictures

Ladies, this is one year after finishing 4 DD A/C and bald as a baby's butt.  Would be much longer looking if it were not so curly!  So, take heart.  Yours WILL grow.

Note:  It had been trimmed once before these photos.

That is alot of hair.. and one year out doesnt honestly sounds so bad now.  My hair is not coming in curly so wondering if it will grow in and stick straight up! LOL.. as said already gel/mousse will be my friend.  I do have a very good hair stylist who coicidentally lost her mother to breast cancer years ago. She is going to be a big help.  She does go on maternity leave July through October so hoping that in between won't need anything done. If I do I may go to her house ! LOL

I have had my hair short in the past 10 years but not this short! Oh well just glad that hair is coming back and will hopefully soon blow in the wind.  What is funny about wearing a wig  is that if it is wind, it blows but then when the wind stops the hair stays sticking up and doesn't fall back into place. This is mondo annoying, my 13 year old daughter is always 'fixing' my  hair.  

I know we all get frustrated waiting for it to grow back.  (I know I am.... even now, 18 months after chemo was done (*grin*)).  For awhile it even seemed to take over my thoughts....  They went like this...

Thanks for the pictures -- I just found this link on Active topics.   Mine is about an inch long and I see the beginning of waves.  It was naturally curly before, but I don't care as long as it is hair.   

When the pictures come up, there is no time reference.  It that every week or every month?    

I just checked my iCal, and it's been 40 weeks since my last chemo tx.  My hair is totally different from the pics in that Karin Stack series.  Mine was perfectly straight before chemo, but now it's way curlier than in those weekly pics.  How did she get by without the curlycurls???

Girls, mine came back super curly, too, but now, at almost 2 years post chemo, it is long and in layers and most of the curl is gone except at the ends.  I had heard it took about 2 years to lose the curl and that was true in my case.  You should eventually go back to your own normal.

You look great in all of those pics -how great to see you again.  I've been away a long time.  Glad I stopped by and got to see your smiling face.  Must admit I'm a little envious  - my hair never grew back worth a darn!  Used to be thick and dark - my mother called it my crowning glory.  Now no crown or glory.   But lots of grey streaks.

Just wanted to say hi to an old friend - I have missed you and thought of you often.

I have been made (with plenty of other ladies) permanently bald with Taxotere.

Watching these vids and pictues just makes me want to weep!
