Nicki
-
that is really creepy. Can you actually see her now days?
-
Spar: That is the exact picture that is on her monument - and it is creepy. There is a statue of a woman dressed in a wedding dress with 4 unlit torches around her.

Hi. We have a walking trail like the one Nicki posted. Now that I cant walk the distance, I miss it. But since the woman has a better figure than I do, I am just gonna pretend that that is me. I love my choice of colour - such a vibrant purple top.
-
dreamwriter, what kind of distance can you walk? did you walk in vegas? Welcome to the mountains. Get out your chair and sleeping bag and stay awhile.
We had a couple of STRANGERS join us for the evening, but we gave them a warm welcome because everyone is welcome on the mountain. Hope all has a good coming week.
-
Hi all, I have been on the trick or treat trail...LOL I posted pictures on
Life's a beach and Chemo 2005. Take a look.
Mean while back at the cabin....

Love the pictures Mary-Lou. Happy day on the mountain. Good hiking and finding mountain artifacts. Don't have a lot of time this morning but will be back later.
-
Spar~ I found a nice place to have an afternoon rest.
Bring FOOD I'm hungry..
Lisa bring flowers....
The rest of you Mt girls surprize us...

Chemosobi, my being a Christian and a conservative doesn't have anything to do with the very simple question that I pm'd you, all I asked for was a simple truthful yes or no. Very simple very easy, didn't even care what the answer was but you and your "friends" said all kind of nasty things about me on the thebananacabanaclub.yuku You are looking for evil where there is none, you are trying to make trouble where there is none. Why did you do this? It was a simple pm. You owe me an apology. I have done nothing to you, why all the hate and anger???? I posted here instead of private because you would just make it public anyway, a mountain out of a molehill.
-
Mary-Lou very beautiful place to sit and relax which I need to do right now. Want some crablegs, they may be messy but they are worth it.
Here is us some crablegs, shrimp, baked potatoe, and salad. Since we don't go to eat nice places often on the mountain, lets splurge of dessert also.
Yum, everyone have a great evening

Its been awhile since I last posted. My computer died and with it all my pictures.
I need a quiet place to think.......................

-
Now
here was a neat little place in green England..it would not be
very high up the mountain...
-
Very Lush Lisa! Great Pics...
-
Welcome Valerie, It is a very nice place to come and think. Enjoy the lushness and hiking and camping out with campfires and smores. The picture looks like the perfect thinking place.
Lisa those pictures are very beautiful. Thank you for the calming inspiration.
Goodnight moon
-
and a flower to contemplate..
-
Here's my little one climbing a pretend mountain.
-
Lisa, what are those cliffs? That reminds me of Zion in Utah.
-
My favorite place -
"It has the beach & the mountains!!
-
Beach and the Mountains, can't ask for much more than that. I think that is why I love Lake Tahoe so much, it has it all.
-
I've never been to Tahoe, that pic is from St.John. I would move there tomorrow if I could afford it!
In my dreams.................
Sheri - love the picture of Micah - I always wanted to try that.
-
It's beautiful!
-
It is Zion...good eye
-
-
Dreamer: Look what I found just for you. We can go for a wonderful ride instead of a hike and enjoy all the beauty surrounding us in the mountains.
-
Lisa, I loved Zion, I actually did climb some of those cliffs when I was a bit younger and thinner. We took a wonderful family vacation there when my older children were younger. They still talk about it!
