You bet. It looks like it would be a good exercise climb doing that and plus I want to look inside those buildings on the top.
Love the fall colors

I saw a beaver in the water.
this little guy was waiting on shore.
-
spar - I have been up to the top - it is so cool, they also have an elevator inside the mountain that will take you there. Believe it or not it is a gift shop up there.

Good Evening mountain rangers. A quick pop in after work.

This is one of my favorite castles..it is in Segovia, Spain
and we used to have picnics with my boys on the grassy area there...
Of course, this was over 30 years ago now...

Here are some of the mountains I was in on my trip to Luray Va.
This was in New Market , would have been better if the sun had been out for all the pictures.
And in Luray where I stayed.
I took this while at the store...I didn't know the hood of my truck was in the picture...I'm short

There is a bit of a chill on the mountain this morning. Brrrrrr! Had to throw a log on the fire.
Got some warm food cooking.
And looked who joined us. To keep the campfire safe.
Have a wonderful day everyone.

beautiful place I layed my sleeping bag last night and woke up to splashing and laughter of these children playing in the cold water. What joy. Now I need my coffee
-
-
I just love the coffee...
on the way up today..the moon was still up this morning..
Then I stopped by this little place and took some pictures of the beautiful flowers..

Beautiful Lisa

Was out hiking today and found this place, such awesome beauty and a wonderful place for a picnic and wading. Keep on climbing those mountains friends, it is the only way to the top.
-
Mary Lou, thanks for the coffee, that must have been a special blend, never tasted it before but it grabbed the bulls by the horn and got me going!
-
Hi to everyone. Another pop in. Night on the mountains in approaching The scent of Fall is in the air. It's misty and cool. Another day has passed...thankful yet worried time passes by much too quickly.
If you look real hard, you might find one of these. Sleepy now, but anxious to play!
All animals are cute. Even baby skunks lol

Yes, ladies be very careful, it can really be dangerous on the mountains.
saw one of these on my hike today and just sat on the grass and watched him nibble.
-
I did not take this photo..but it is one of my favorite spots from my summers in Cooperstown...
It is called Leatherstocking Falls...
-
That is beautiful, I can see myself wading down it with my grandkids and having a really good time.
-
Sunrise on "grandfather mountain." Hope you all have a great day. All of my posts are just meant to bring a smile, something we all need. There are no hidden messages or agenda. Just reaching out to other breast cancer survivors wanting to share a little peace and respite from the ongoing issues we share having breast cancer and going through this journey.
