It will be a dream life in everyway. It all sounds perfect. We have our first group of 20 women coming in one week. The staff is all settled in their suites and loving it here. The women will start with MRI's since they all have had suspicious mammograms. We have a whole week to enjoy ourselves so Spar is going to sit at the outside bistros and have a latte and a pastry. Luv is going grab some fresh fruit and join Spar. Julz will............

organizing our fund raisers from walks/run to locks for love and those who couldn't afford health coverages. To bring awareness.
First, we all had to search for some art work ...
and photos of REAL women/men with inspiration and their stories, their journeys and their strength....
and how to LIVE after breast cancer....
-
Harley is very excited, because this is going to be a lovely resort where newly dx'd women will be pampered from head to toe!!
She can't wait to greet their very first guests!!
-
Spar just though of something, for the women that want to come but don't have the money to fly in will donations pay for them to get here? The walks/run money raisers around the island will be pure pleasure. Which one of us do you think should handle the money end or should we hire an accountant. That is the one thing that is not settled yet. For the ones that do have insurance we will bill them the amount they will pay but want all to get same wonderful treatment.
-
We would fly our survivors in a Delta Boeing 747...in order for a Pilot to recieve his/hers Pilot license they have to "volunteer" sky miles first. Sooooo.....that helps our budget....and speakin of which we do have to hire an accountant...the last time we blew our money on a Margarita machine!.....Although that was money worth spent !
-
What a perfect plane, Spar wants to fly it, so I need to start training. Julz said I would be a perfect stewardess, I can carry 2 drinks in each hand with 2 plates on each arm and keep a smile on my face. NBN said I can sqeeze my buns together so tight I could pull the whole cart behind me and keep a big sh%* eating grin on my face.
By buns I meant tieing my hair around the cart, what in the world were you girls thinking.
-
LOL...I bet she could too...and then some !
LUV said, perfect hair for our locks of love....only she wasn't ready to donate her hair...so we had to get her drunk...hmmm Spar can since she can carry two @ a time....but who will be cutting the hair when she's out...
-
...we'll get Johnny Depp to come and cut her hair! When he was Edward Scissorhands, he was very good at cutting people's hair, don't ya think?
I think Spar will make a wonderful pilot/stewardess!
-
Yes, Miss S said she would ask John to come for a visit. He's going to do a show and cut hair, too. What fun.
Spar will be one of our pilots. We'll have to have several, but she can be head pilot to our pretty pink plane.
Miss S wants to run the hair salon that has all the pink wigs. We have lots of styles to chose from and also pink hair dye for gals with hair!
TC wants to run the animal center and be in charge of all the animals!

Spar was very excited she got her pilots license today and wants to take all us breast sisters for a ride. Spar went sideways and upside down, showing off all she had learned. MissS started throwning up on the upside down but at least she got her little baggie. Harley was was white as a ghost. NBN loved it she was grinning from ear to ear. Julz was saying ok spar thats a good job you can fly us back now. TC and Candie were just holding on so tightly that their knuckles were white. OK, here we go for a humdinger of a landing..............Luv screaming your missing the runway..............
-
WE landed safely, oh but the girls were a little weak kneed walking off the plane. This was a practice flight, tomorrow I pick up our first group of women, they are ages 25 thru 56 and we want them to feel very welcome. All of our group will be the welcoming committee to get them to their rooms, snacks, drinks, and a group meeting that evening to see where each and every woman is in her treatment. Most have had an irregular mammogran and are looking for an MRI first, then go from there to decide what comes next.
-
We picked up our fist group, and this time, Spar shouted " Perfect landing! "....Spar grinned and said it takes not only talent but skill to land in a tree! So we all climbed out and dropped to our knees ( as that was the only way to exit the plane ) but an awesome opportunity to kiss the ground we "almost" landed on.
O-kay, first stop....lets pick up some meds!.....
-
Aw, Spar said, they took away my license! Now what am i gonna do. I guess I could get the party boat and pick up the meds, if I don't run into the dock. Our first group were just a little set back by the landing but we offered a few glasses of good wine and they got over it. NBN said I don't think these girls are suppose to have alcohol but MissS said well after this day lets worry about it tomorrow. Luv said I need a lot more that some wine. Julz said..............
-
****I sure missed you girlz
****
Julz said........
"and it comes with extra munchies." " Will this help better than the Alcohol!" NBN said "If I mix these munchies with the alcohol, nobody's gonna feel a thing!" Spar was thinking Julz was too excited .......
just how much munchie's did she have??????
-
Luv said I need a lot more that some wine. Julz said.............."Your waisted!" LOL...LUV looked at JulZ and said, "no no I's just had a cupple!" Surprisingly only first class got to have wine and the rest of our dear sisters were pissed in the back. NBN said, "LUV ...only first class ??!!! LUV explained, " I wasntio isf I shouewd serb or not...k ? k ?...k?.......k" Thank goodness we had our dear sister JulZ w/ x-tra munchies and the won't melt in your hands...only your mind M&Ms!!!!! LOL

Well ladies are dream is now a reality, everyone is being treated to the very best physical and mental and emotional care on our breast cancer boot camp island. Everything is being paid for now by contributions, insurance (if they have any) and the federal government is helping out. So Spar is headed back to do some more traveling on her bus, she misses the movement and seeing new sights. If anyone wants to join me let them say YAY if anyone doesn't and wants to stay on the island let them say NAY.
Whats it to be girls?
-
John T is picking spar and whoever wants to go up in the morning to take us to the bus and my first trip is going to be to the new wolf lodge in texas.
-
Spent the day arguing with the crew... with all the meds, we have with us, we could open a pharmacy, Mixing with alcohol with all those narcartics! It didnt take very long to reach sober and see that there was fun to be had right where we were. We hung out for some pony rides and a little hiking. Soaking in the hot tub with the first alcoholic beverage and it felt GOOOOOOOOOOOOD
-
Julz told spar we should go for it. We could use a little R&R from all that we had been doing. DW said we can always come back to the island when we need an Island fix. Harley still wasn't sure what to do cause her mind was still missing in action from the 'Special Munchies' she had had. As well as MissS. with her going between seeing crabs on the beach to now all the sudden she was in the land of OZ with PINK BUNNIES? Julz figured she is a Woman & it's her prerogative to keep changing her mind! LUV Ahhh Dear LUV was waffling with her answer whats it gonna be LUV the Girlz said expectantly.......
-
Hey,l Luv is gonna go for it. NBN is coming with us also. I think TC and Candie are staying on the island with Dreamcatcher to do more fishing, snorkling etc. So John will pick up Spar, Julz, NBN, Harly and Luv in the morning. I can't wait to get on the road again. Am looking forward to new scenery and meeting new people. Julz, me girl is right, we can always come back to the island and see how our peeps are doing. We will be blasting our music and rockin with the rhythem, hopefully Julz is making us a CD tonight to take with us in the morning. I just can't wait to get on the road again, making music with my friends. Spar was feeling all sentimental and all huggy wuggy with a tear or two rolling down until NBN said Ok snap out of it or I'm staying here. Well, Spar put on her big girl panties then.
-
MissS hasn't made her mind up quite yet but I hope she travels with Spar to the great unknown spaces.
-
Yes, MissS we promise to take several helmets, we haven't got you in anything we haven't gotten you out of yet. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, come on along.
-
I would love to take a little break and go off for a short jaunt. Everything seems to be running smoothly on our island. I think we should take a breather!
-
Yey! MissS is a Yes. We leave in the morning, heading to texas. Am looking at Texas guides and there are several places for us to stop and adventure along the way.
-
Here is our buddy to pick us up.
He is blowing all the cancer boot camp recruits a kiss as we are about to fly off into the morning sunrise. Can't wait to get on that bus.
-
oh YUM-MY...LUV was SURE to have her head in the clouds!!!
It was absolutely breathtaking.......his eyes....his uniform ....his
