Hi guys!

I am coming with a question, maybe some of you know.

What is FC and A scores on a breastbiopsy?

For example, I have HP G2 grading (FC=3, A=2, M=1).

I know M stands for methastasis, but FC and A no idea. I searched on the web but wasn't able to find explanations

Thank you all so very much!

Just curious- are you talking about determination of grade or staging?

Grade refers to the way the tissue looks under microscope, and is determined according to nuclear pleomorphism, tubular differentiation, and mitosis (likely your M?).
vs staging of a tumour which uses TMN classification - Tumour size, number of lymph Nodes, and presence of distance Metastases.

Sounds like your biopsy shows a grade 2 tumor - this is subject to change if you have surgical removal of a tumor, as overall grade is best determined by looking at the entire tumor rather than a small biopsied piece

    Hope this helps!
