CT scans

Hi

This has been playing on my mind so thought I would ask here to see if anyone knows the answer. I get CT body scans done every 3 months. Would these scans show up other primary cancers, bowel for example or would you need a colonoscopy to diagnose that?

    Hi Katie, You would need a colonoscopy. Even if a CT Scan showed a suspicious area someplace a biopsy would need to be done. Sorry. Hard to not worry about other cancers. Colonoscopy prep is shitty.
