Can recurrence happened in Easley stage

Hi ladies


I have a question


Any one here with recurrence in the other breast but early stage ?

Why I have a misconception that recurrence is always a Mets specially if it comes in the other breast?

    Metastasis, or mets, is when cancer moves from the primary site to distant organs. Cancer confined to the breasts whether one or both is not mets. Typically bc metastasis is to bones, lungs, liver, or brain. Recurrence can happen at any time but if confined to the breast it is considered local not metastatic.
