Delayed Chemo Side Effects

Hello - I completed 8 rounds of chemotherapy at the end of April 2022. I have recently developed what I think are delayed side effects --- (sorry for the yucky details) darkened fingernails, nails lifting from beds, ridges, pain under nails. Is that normal? I did some research, but all articles I found described these side effects as occurring during chemotherapy, not after. Any feedback/thoughts/recommendations would be appreciated.

    Welcome to the BCO community. We are sorry that these delayed side effects have brought you here but glad that you reached out. Here is information about Nail Changes- you may have already read this. Here is another topic on Nail Changes after Taxol - not sure which drugs you were taking.It is always important to bring any changes during or after chemotherapy to the attention of your treatment team. While they are the best to advise you we hope that other members might join in this disucussion with shared experiences. Keep us posted on what assistance you may need here.
