Skin when starting Chemo

My daughter has just started chemo. She was just saying to me tonight that she feels like she is having painful puberty with painful white heads all over her face and at the same time he skin is dry and flaky. She said he nose is red and swollen like an old drunk! I thought there might be some tips I could send her way. Tried to search but could not find anything that fit her issue. I keep trying to get her to join this but so far no luck! So if anyone can offer any hints or suggestions let me know.

Hi Sandy,

While I did not experience breakouts during chemo, my skin became quite dry and felt tight. My oncologist's nurse recommended tried-and-true skin care products that were gentle, non comedogenic, and moisturizing (think Cetaphil, Cerave, Vanicream).

I hope that someone will chime in about your daughter's other concerns.
