Question about recurrence rate

Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with tubular cancer Left breast Er/Pr + Her- Stage1 1cm tumor in March. Lumpectomy done 3/31. Will do accelerated partial breast radiation starting 5/23. As expected RO recommended letrozole for 5yrs. She says my recurrence rate will drop from 10% to 5% by taking them. No oncotype score since I don’t need chemo. I am just wondering how she determined this rate. Dreading the AI’s as I quit HRT in January and already in hormone hell.
