I had my 5th birthday December 19, 2021 after completing chemo and rad for IDC. Since I finished my treatments, my bones have made me an old lady. (Geez I’m only 63😂)

Anyway, I’ve had to have hip joint surgery, basal joint hand surgery, the arthritis in my big toe keeps me in pain constantly, my osteoporosis in my spine and neck has worsened, my tmj (another joint) is stirred up so much that I have no “bite” and have facial pain making eating difficult, chronic gastritis (compliments of chemo) and last week learned it has migrated up through and into my esophagus and the neuropathy drives me nuts. I’m thankful to have beaten this beast! Just wonder if anyone else has noticed that it plays havoc with your bones and joints, feet, gut and limbs?

I wish I would’ve had a heads up that chemo wasn’t done giving after that last bag!

your thoughts?

Hi Jackie. Sorry you’re having so many issues but are you currently taking endocrine therapy? It’s been many years since I was initially diagnosed but for your stage would have thought Tamoxifen or an AI (Arimidex or Femara) would have been recommended. If yes, that’s more likely the culprit for arthritic issues.
