Stroma microcalcifications

So I had a biopsy last week for microcalcifications. I got my results and it shows “left breast fatty tissue with rare microcalcifications” only follow up is routine mammogram in August 2022. Has anyone else had this dx or does anyone have any insight into this pathology?

    Hi,

    I had a biopsy recently that came back with rare microcalcifications as well. When I asked for more information, my NP explained it actually means scant and it wasn't anything to be concerned about. Hope that helps.
