Yale or MSK for recurrence

I am having a hard time making a decision. I met with a surgeon at Yale and am scheduled to meet with one at MSK. Has anyone had any experience with a Dr Zanieski at Yale or a Dr Barrio at MSK? I was also considering Dana Farber but am having some insurance issues with them. MSK of course has an outstanding reputation and fortunately they have a satellite office about an hour from where I live. Surgery would be in NYC of course, which is a downside. Yale is about 1 1/2 hours away but I don't know how it compares with MSK. Dana Farber is 2 1/2 hrs away but my son lives within 1/2 hr. First time around I stayed local so this time I want to go to a NCI designated facility. I really don't know how to decide....

    Dr. Barrio was my surgeon and I’m a huge fan, fwiw

    I ‘m with MinusTwo on the other thread about meeting with both and seeing how you feel about them. I’ have been treated at both MSK and Yale, and love Yale. would not go by perceived reputation of an institution.

    Well things are moving along with Yale. Was supposed to go to MSK tomorrow for surgical consult. Got a call at 5 PM this evening to remind me of my mammo in the morning. What mammo? Wasn't aware of any mammo being scheduled. And since it is 5 PM there is no one to call. I looked online to pre register and fill out forms and I noticed that they are looking for my prior reports. And my images and pathology is in process of being transferred. I verified more than once that they received my prior reports and was told yes. I am beginning to think they do not have all my prior information. I went through a similar scenario in 2016 when I went to Yale for a second opinion. When I arrived they didn't have all of my priors. It was quite a mess. I guess I will call in the morning but there is no way I am able to make the mammo appt. I really did want another opinion at MSK but maybe I should just go ahead with Yale.
