Constricted Throat from Anastrazole?

Hi There,

Has anyone had a delayed allergic reaction to AI?

In the last two days my throat has felt constricted. Not sore but constricted. it is keeping me from sleeping. Last night I took half a benadryl and was able to sleep but this morning my throat is still tight. I have been taking anastrazole for 7 months and the SI have been manageable, but this is a new thing and I wonder if it's some kind of cumulative or delayed effect? Previous to the constricted throat my eyes have been extremely irritated - severe dry eye?- in the last few weeks.

I will be calling my MO today but would love to hear if anyone else experienced some kind of delayed or cumulative allergic reaction to AI.

I had something like this years ago. It felt like my throat was closing up and like I might not be able to breathe if it kept going. It was the wee hours of the morning and I took myself to the emergency room. It turned out to be a bacterial infection - cellulitis I think, in my mouth. I had not had recent dental work. I got IV antibiotics at the ER and a course of strong antibiotics, and prescheduled follow up appointments. They treated it pretty seriously.

I would not assume it's related to drugs and I would get it seen by a doctor or urgent care
