Findings on radiation ct for mapping

Hi! Today I had my radiation ct for mapping the breast for radiation therapy due to start next week. I had a lumpectomy about 6 weeks ago with clean margins and clear nodes. The radiologist called today and said there was a post surgical change, asked if i had any warmth or pain. I have not. He said it could be a lymph node or maybe cyst. Is it possible for something to grow this quick? My surgeon did an ultrasound for my procedure and nothing was noticed 6 weeks ago. Ugh, it's always something!

Amy--unfortunately it is possible, but hopefully it's nothing concerning. Will you have a followup with your surgeon soon? Good luck to you; sending positive thoughts your way.

UPDATE: Seroma. All good. Phew. Start radiation next week, 20 sessions.
