My oncologist wants me to try Xeloda. What has been your experience on it?

Side effects???? Any information would help as I am freaked out about taking it

I've been on it for not quite three months and am doing very well. I have some peeling on my hands, but that's about it. I believe it's working for me. I'm on 3,000 mg per day with a 7/7 regimen.

what side effects have you had????

Nausea? Weight loss or gain? Mouth sores

GoGirl36, I started Xeloda (3300mg), along with Tukysa and Kanjinti, on Dec. 6. So, it's only been four days. So far, side effects have been mild, occasional diarrhea and some fatigue. I know it may get worse next week. When do you think you will start Xeloda?

The only side effects right now are a little more grumpiness and sadness in the beginning. The grumpiness is still there intermittently, but the sadness is better. I gained the weight back that I had lost, but I lose weight when I have progression because it’s in my stomach
