KRAS mutation?

I had to switch to a new MO because my old one moved away 😭.

So I met with the new one yesterday, and found out that the Guardant liquid biopsy I did in 2020 did show a mutation/amplification of KRAS. She mentioned there’s a brandnew drug that has been approved for lung cancer with this KRAS and she would think about a clinical trial with this med if I need to switch.

Just wondering if anyone else has this? Seems uncommon in breast cancer.

do you know exactly which KRAS mutation? My sister has late stage ovarian cancer that has a KRAS mutation. It’s very good news that they have a drug for you to try.

I think it’s KRAS G12C. There’s this drug sotorosib that’s been FDA approved for lung cancer with same mutation.

that's not the mutation she has. There are no drugs right now for her KRAS mutation but there are some clinical trials for her mutation. Right now chemo is working for her. It's a race against time. Best of luck to you.
