Sulforaphane Anti-Cancer Properties

Hi Ladies,

I have LCIS and very dense breasts and a good amount of BC in the family. I'm sure many of you have read that veggies like broccoli and cauliflower have anti-cancer properties. Somehow the sulforaphane inhibits the building up of blood vessels needed in making a tumor. To get more of this I started growing broccoli sprouts to put in my smoothies. Sulforaphane is now available in cream!! So I thought about ordering and applying topically to breasts. There is an interesting study where they gave it orally AND topically to pets that had tumors and generally saw very good results. Anyway this is just an idea I had and wanted to pass on to my friends here because anything we can do to prevent this would be amazing. C

Thanks for info. I drink Brassica tea (broccoli-based) for the anti-cancer properties. I am sipping some NOW. It has no broccoli taste. Will do some research on this cream you mention. There are some studies that I tried to get into but was the wrong demographics on topical tamoxifen cream. Hoping that might produce something but the studies have been going on forever and seem to still be in the study stage. I'll link an article about this here.
