Anyone else have necrosis after surgery?

My skin is having a hard time healing. I have purple areas and blisters. I have cried so much.
Plastic surgeon says he may have to go back in trim it all and restitch me. Which is a setback to say the least.

Does anyone else have this??? And what is your experience. I really have not found many with this. I posted in the surgery thread and only a couple responses actually had had the same thing.

Lover of Jesus - You've started a lot of threads and people have answered. It might make more sense to pick one thread and continue with it so people can respond and there's continuing feed back. I read some good answers to your question on another thread last night.

yes I had same thing, ugly dark scabs thought was all dead skin and horrible...and to my shock they healed nice. Did scare me to the point I still haven't gotten my tattoos 3 yrs later but going for consult next week!

LoverofJesus, I have necrosis after my August surgery as well. I may be facing plastic surgery to remove all the radiated skin and have it replaced with skin from another part of my body. It's either that or a complete debridement down to the bone my doctor told me. He does not recommend the debridement but rather the flap surgery. It is a very difficult decision for me.

wow. My PS didn’t allow it to go on that long. I had Debridement about three weeks out from my DMX. So it didn’t get that deep or that extensive.
