LovefromPhilly has passed away
The mods posted this on the leptomeningeal thread. As I noted there, this never gets any easier to hear.

thank you for letting us know-I had a message from her about 3 weeks ago and that was the last time I spoke to her. She was a wonderful person who died way too soon.
-
RIP.

So fast and so sad 💔

Fly away Philly! I remember you embracing the concept of Philadelphia freedom at some crazy costume party a few years ago-I think it was for Halloween. We don't know what comes next but I am hoping you are at some wild party, dancing, flirting and free from all that has weighed you down these past months. You will be missed on these boards.

Her presence on the forum was very sweet and open. So very sorry to hear this, my heart goes out to her family and friends.
RIP -
Very sad news. Brenda was a dear and generous person - RIP

Wow. That news cuts like a knife. LoveFromPhilly was a bright light on this forum, very generous with sharing her experiences and offering support to others. She was entirely too young to be taken by this disease. My heart is so sad. I read some of her entries on the link provided. Here is a photo of her from the page. Rest in peace, Philly. I will miss you.

I’m so heartbroken to hear this news. Philly was a constant presence on these boards not long after I joined. So young, vibrant and lovely. Rest dear Brenda. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Rest in peace, beautiful soul. ❤

Oh god, no. The last few days I had a feeling to post on the Brain Mets thread to ask after her WBR and how she was doing now, but didn't. I guess I'm not surprised given the fast progression of her disease and the lepto dx, though its very very tough to log in this morning and see this thread title. She gave me such hope in the early days of my diagnosis and she has never been far from my mind. May she rest well and comfortably as her memory lives on.

RIP Philly

After all this time, I still find these losses almost incomprehensible. Philly's energy, optimism and generosity came across in her every post. And from her photo I see these qualities shone in her face as well.
RIP, lovely Brenda.

This news feels like the kind of chest punch that knocks the air out of you for a long time. Brenda was so young, and so full of light and hope and positivity. How can this merciless disease take away that smile forever?
Rest in peace, Brenda!

Brenda's passing is simply devastating. She was such a bright light on this forum, I cannot imagine the loss felt by those who knew her in "real" life.
Thank you for letting us know Caryn.

Beyond sorry for this sad news. She was so young and such a shining star. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

Too young, vibrant and way too swift. Fly high Brenda, LovefromPhilly. May her memory be a blessing to all who know and love her.

RIP Brenda. A bright light gone too soon

I honestly am speechless, we were close in proximity and talked frequently! My heart is broken. The brightest sweetheart of a smile. Now you’re pain free my friend .

Very sad, sad news. We were diagnosed about the same time. We both started a thread about dreams, I think the same day. Philly was a bright, vivacious woman and I am so saddened by this news. I loved her photos. Sending comfort to her family. I hate this disease! RIP. ❤️

This hit me hard. Brenda was so inspirational and kind to me when I needed it.
-
This is just unthinkable. LoveFromPhilly, Brenda, just defined joie de vivre. Her spirit will stay with me.
