Occasional pain in breast with the cancer

Hello everyone. I had my first biopsy on 9/29 (right breast) and was diagnosed with IDC on 10/1. Had another biopsy on 10/5 on both breasts and the results were benign. No pain on left side. The pain I'm experiencing is like what I would get during PMS when I was younger. It's not constant. Sometimes it's a little sharp. And it's in the spot where the cancer is.

I had my port placement on 10/27, feel fine there, and just waiting for insurance 😠 to approve chemo (very worried). This pain just adds to everything. I'm having all kinds of crazy thoughts.

Anyone experience something similar after a biopsy, and before any kind of treatment/surgery?

Hi,

After any kind of trauma (biopsy) you certainly can feel all sorts of strange feelings as well as intermittent pain. There are nerves everywhere. I had it after I had biopsies and now I'm 4 years out of a double NSP and still get pains here and there in both breasts.
