What to Expect with a Bone Biopsy?

Hello - After undergoing treatment for ILC in 2009, and no symptoms since, I had a CT scan a couple weeks ago which showed bone metastases per the radiologist. After being referred to an oncologist, the PET scan he ordered showed "widespread bony metastatic disease". The oncologist has yet to confirm it is really MBC, but I feel sure it probably is. I'm scheduled for a bone biopsy tomorrow - what should I expect from the biopsy? Thanks for any input!
