I'm not sure how many of you knew Elizabeth. Her user name was EV11. When I first came to breast cancer.org, she was extremely helpful to me. I was sad that she moved away from posting. I just found out she passed away. I don't have the exact date, but someone told me it was this past summer. There is a tribute for her. I'm so sad. If you'd like the link to see the remembrance of her, please private message me.

I apologize. I didn’t realize I was not supposed to publish her full name. The mods will be fixing for me

Elizabeth was a lovely person who generously shared her not insubstantial knowledge. Sadly Elizabeth’s partner predecessor her. I do hope that her adored daughter will make her way successfully & happily in the world

Elizabeth was a fierce advocate who was determined to improve the lives of patients with MBC, especially those with lobular. When we met at conferences, our exchanges were warm, informative, and memorable. Her passing is a deep loss to our community, and my heart goes out to her daughter and friends.

I am so sorry to hear about Elizabeth, although I suspected that she wasn't doing well when she stopped posting on BCO. She was one of the first people I corresponded with on BCO, and her advice was so knowledgeable and helpful, and she really went out of her way to help. I hope her daughter is doing okay, and I hope her legacy lives on.

I didn’t know her but I am sorry to hear this and sorry for the loss to those who knew her, both online and off

Thank you so much.
BevJen, it seems like we had the same experience with her. Such an awesome person.

Very sad to hear this. Elizabeth kindly emailed me a lot of information about ILC. We have lost a smart, dedicated activist as well as a kind person. May her daughter and other family find strength remembering hers.
-
Elizabeth shared so much helpful information and knowledge from her medical background. She was so kindhearted and will be missed
-
I did not know Elizabeth (How is that possible?), but my heart is heavy whenever we lose someone. May her memory be a comfort to all who knew and loved her.
-
exbrnxgirl, it may have been because she posted in the ILC thread and clinical trials thread. She had GI mets like I do, and it is very rare for me to find anyone with it in their stomach.

So sorry to hear about EV. Lighting a candle to remember another soul who helped so many here.Rest In Peace.
