I am seen at Dana Farber-this is the note from today's MRI which I have every 2 years (mammo was fine). I asked if a biopsy was called for but they say no-- does this seem like it makes sense ? (I often have no perspecitve in these things).

but most likely represent a benign etiology, such as fat necrosis. Recommend short-interval follow-up to assess for stability or resolution.

I agree with MinusTwo.... Obviously if you feel or have any changes in the next 6 months call them sooner though 6 month monitoring is typical when they believe there is no or little concern....
