I recently had an ultrasound because I found a lump in my right breast. The radiology tech was concerned and went and got the radiologist and he ordered a Mammogram immediately. I had the mammogram that day and followed up with my Dr the next day. She stated that my images were highly concerning and extremely suspicious for cancer. She scheduled me for a biopsy which I had on Friday and am now waiting on results. But, during the biopsy the radiologist mentioned that the Ultrasound looked "less bad" than the one earlier in the week and that the tissue samples "floated". Does anyone have any personal experience with knowing if the floating tissue could indicate that it is benign? (I'm 28, with a long family history of breast cancer).
