Yellow jacket sting

Hi, Im wondering if others have experienced venomous sting near armpit where sentinal nodes were renoved? I got my first yellow jacket sting on Sunday and its pretty swollen . Ive been doing some light massage of the area trying to direct it in the opposite direction of my armpit...thats what i remember to do ..any other thoughts/ideas. Thank you! Jenvo

Ouch! Not exactly the same. I got stung by a bee on my hand on my LE side. I immediately put a frozen aloe vera piece on it. Taped it up. Next day it was ok. Not even itchy.

Have you tried icing it? Epsom salt bath?

I have aloe vera plants. Instead of making aloe gel, I turn them into aloe ice. I remove a whole leaf, drain out the latex, and cut off the thorns. Then I cut them into small pieces keeping the outer skin on one side. Rinse, layout on tray, and freeze.

I mainly use them on my face. When done, I use them on my nails. Really helps.

I don't know how well aloe would work now. If you have inflammation still, an antihistamine might help.
