Has anyone been started on Zoladex and considered post menopause?

Hi, Ann, I looked at your recent posts to get some background on your question. It looks like you were on Zoladex when you were younger, and now you are in your early 50s? If you don't have periods and your blood tests for Estradiol (E2) and Follicle Stimulating Hormome (FSH) a confirm you are postmenopausal, there would be no reason to use Zoladex. Its purpose is to shut down the ovaries and stop them from producing the estrogen that can feed ER+ breast cancer. If you are postmenopausal, your ovaries are already shut down. (Is this the information you were looking for?)
