    Hi All,

I have been reading y’all’s posts and drawing strength from you. I am 57 and had my screening mammogram on 8/6. It came back Birads 0 for an area of “faint” microcalcifications. I was petrified with fear! I had my diagnostic mammogram today and was assured by radiologist that all looks benign, so she didn’t want to do a BX, but to follow up with mammogram in 6 months. Ironically enough, I am an RN and one of my daughters is an Oncologist. It was a Birads 3 and I sent the area of concern to my daughter and she is in agreement with 6 month f/u, so I am comfortable with that decision. I just wanted to say that reading all the stories on here has humbled me over the past week and gave me courage to face whatever outcome I had today or in 6 months! Stay strong ladies! Let’s do this together!

Happy for you Sher that your area of concern in one that can be monitored. Nice you could get reassurances from your daughter as well!
