Machine washable turbans/hats

I keep seeing hand wash and lay flat to dry on all of these hats. I bought 4 caps from headcovers unlimited and it took like 2 days for them to air dry.
Can I really not put these things through the regular wash/dry...cold and low heat? It's such a pain to hand wash....

hi! I ordered several sleep caps and scarves thru headcovers unlimited. I threw mine in one of those garment bags and washed on delicate, dried on low for a few minutes then hung them up to dry till the next day. Good luck!
