I am currently being treated for triple negative breast cancer (diagnosed at 41), and I tested negative for all 83 high and moderate risk mutations that they considered. However, my 18 year old daughter has both BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations. We have a pending appointment with a genetic counselor, but has anyone had a similar situation? I'm afraid my daughter has three strikes against her between having both high risk mutations and her mother having TNBC at a relatively young age.
