Dog ears

I had a bilateral mastectomy 6/15/21. Due to my large chest 44/EEE my doctor warned me about the possibility of dog ears. I choose to not have any reconstruction, I was fine going flat after having a large chest all my life.What I wasn’t told was that the dog ears would effect my range of motion in my arms, Has anyone else had issues?

    I have small dog ears in the back of each side (if that makes sense). They do not restrict my range of motion. I've also seen references to people being able to have plastic surgery to have those minimized, etc. I do not know much about that. Hopefully others will respond or you could try the search box. I believe insurance pays??? Maybe it depends though I believe they do.....
