Nauseous and concerned about metastatic cancer

Options

Hello. Feeling nauseous and burping and scared about liver or brain or other cancer.

I haven’t been eating well but of course I’m always worried. Would I have other symptoms if it was cancer somewhere else? I’m calling ny doctor tomorrow.

    scared,

There are many different symptoms that people experience that turn out to be mets or they may experience minimal or no symptoms at all! There is simply no way to pick a “symptom" and decide it's mets even if you've has a previous bc diagnosis. Nausea can be a symptom of more things than I can count on all my fingers and toes so that in itself doesn't mean much at this point. If this problem has persisted for two weeks or more then a call to your doctor is certainly in order. I would be more inclined to think of a gastrointestinal problem so your PCP is a good place to start or a gastroenterologist if you already have one.

Trying to guess what might be wrong based on a symptom which could mean many, many things will just make you crazy. If it's been two weeks, then please call first thing in the morning. Take care.

I’ve been on ibrance and letrozole about 2 years. During that time, I would have bouts of nausea. Not bad enough to vomit, but the thought of food was disgusting. Started dropping weight. Kept telling MO. Finally in February my tumor markers moved. Just a little. MO ordered PET/ct. Nothing lit up, anywhere. In the meantime DH was dying from his cancer. MO and I agree all of it is stress related. After DH passed, dealing with a leaky roof, probate, and all the other stuff, the stress caught up with me, and flattened me for a few weeks. And lost 10# Not the best way to loose it

So all that to say, look at what else is going on in your life. New job? No job? Heat? Family issues? Still get in touch with your PCP, get checked out.

Sounds like acid reflux to me!!! Try taking a Pepcid and see if that helps!

Actually I have rx compazine and that helps. Pepcid doesn’t touch it. But thanks.
